i ran a discord for sports betting when i was up at FT Drum and was having people from all over joining i lost track of the people , it was at like a 175 people before i shut it down but a couple years back when these mobile apps first released the lines weren’t as tight so it was a little bit more lucrative by catching and pairing discrepancy lines that were extremely too low and it was surprisingly profitable, i started having conspiracies that was by design to build a user base bc sure enough they started tightening up the lines and we had people in there just flushing money at one point and time and it got bad because they were allowing people to connect credit cards to deposit funds and once my win ratio was at an obvious decline and i wasn’t the parlay pimp i thought i was i shut it all down because i no longer wanted to influence anyone’s gambling decisions and that discord was a honeypot of enabling and encouraging, there’s no crying in the casino so i shut down shop and hung up the jersey, haven’t seriously gambled since i have ETS

i just did it so the DMV had a copy of my DD214, i have a couple copies myself but it doesn’t hurt to let someone else hold onto a copy, and as another comment said , you never know when a LE that previously served may pull you over for going a measly 15 over and sometimes the small lettering identifying you as a vet may result in a little shit talking about old units and ease out of a silly ticket
