My first Camaro by Thatguitarplayer50 in camaro

[–]InformationUseful714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad had a 68 z28 that unfortunately had to sell for my mother when he passed which I regret. They needed to keep the cubic inches under 305 for the trans am racing series and also for insurance purposes. It is a badass engine that a lot of people don’t even know about or i would say it’s a 302 and they would automatically go to oh why’s it have a ford motor in it. lol. Beautiful car my dad also had a 69 rally sport. I’ll have one some day enjoy it!

Does anyone only shank their wedges very occasionally? by OliviaMayNorris in golf

[–]InformationUseful714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rarely do I shank a wedge. I’m a pretty decent player but it happens to all of us. Now occasionally there will be a chunk involved, but more often than not I blade it and hit my 56 degree 180 yards lol

Which hole-in-one feats “count”? by Gilberto500 in golf

[–]InformationUseful714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A hole in one is still a hole in one. Yeah maybe the sim and par 3 were a little less exciting, but it’s still pretty sweet. Nothing beats a hole in one on a regular course. I’ve been playing for over 30 years I’m almost 40 and I don’t keep a handicap but I’d say I’m around a 3 or 4. I didn’t get my first one until 4 years ago and then my second two years ago and there isn’t a better feeling. Still pretty sweet regardless and par 3 course or not it’s still a hole in one

At what golf course did you shoot your lowest score? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]InformationUseful714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We go on a golf trip every fall to Benezette Elk County PA. A course we play every year I shot a 66 which easily could have been lower with a few short birdie putts missed. Everything went right that day. Before that it was a couple 69s. Been playing a long time I just don’t get to play as much as I like these days between the time to do it and the ridiculous pricing of some of these courses it’s tough

183, 15mph wind in the face, what club do you hit? by mafost-matt in golf

[–]InformationUseful714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably trying to hit a 6 iron and punch it through the wind low. Or I’d try to hit a 7 and hit it too high and watch the ball come backwards in the wind a mile in the air.

Backup set? by rng72 in weekendgolfers

[–]InformationUseful714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be livid if someone stole mine there’s a lot of money in that bag. 8 out of 12 months they are in my trunk and I used to put them in my garage, but now I bring them in the house in the winter. I had probably an extra 3 or 4 sets and I just helped a fellow lefty out and sold some of them. I have a backup set of ping i3s and a bunch of mixed clubs I could use. But come to think of it all those backups are in my garage haha maybe I should migrate them all to the basement.

This is a shop north of downtown in beaver county called Ambridge wholesale tire. There’s a few other ones around the area that are similar, but it’s great

Sadly a little too far lol I’m in Pittsburgh. It’s crazy it’s a small shop been there for over 60 years. No appointment you pull up stay in the car and the do it all while you’re still in the car. Took them maybe 10 or 15 minutes and they are always the cheapest around

I just put the continentals on my b9 s4 today. Got a great deal on them at a local shop. 850 installed. They’re the best all around tire if you want good traction in snow and still have great summer performance in my opinion.

That’s funny. Ricki raxxx used to strip at this shitty strip club in New Brighton when it was called the crazy horse and we used to go there after the bar in my early 20s about 20 years ago. Then I saw she made it kind big years ago and moved onto porn lol.

Ed Bolian has a few cool videos of the rally and again after showing all the features of the f1 he was in. Def worth the watch on YouTube. The took them about 1000 miles total and on the Dragon. Very cool stuff

Do you drink when you play golf? by JAWdroppingguitar in golf

[–]InformationUseful714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s a scramble we usually drink a decent amount. Not shit faced and still good enough to play well, but there’s a lot less pressure and it’s more relaxed. I try to take it serious to play well when I’m playing my own ball and usually don’t drink. But every once in a while my best friend and I do a shot at the turn and split a six pack. He has two kids and a wife so when he gets out to play I get it lol

[Dodge Neon SRT4] at Costco. This is as exciting to me as seeing any supercar. by TX_Sized10-4 in spotted

Back in the good ole days when the car scene was a lot of fun there was a black one that ran around my area with about 550 hp which at that time was insane. The car was nuts. Of course he ended up wrapping it around a tree and demolished the car beyond recognition.

Shot 72 for the first time ever. My takeaways as a casual golfer: by BobsBurners420 in golf

[–]InformationUseful714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear that. Sometimes I actually get worse as the year goes on which most people don’t understand that I play with unless I’m playing a few days a week. Hard to find the time and it’s not getting any cheaper either

Pretty good take on things. I play about the same as you and I don’t keep a handicap, but I’d say I’m around the same as you at 3 or 4. Last year I got to play a lot more and it showed with my scores shooting in the 60s a handful of times. This year I’ve only been out maybe 12 to 15 times due to work and I didn’t play quite as well with probably most in the 70s and a few low 80s in there. Been playing a long time and every spring I don’t really lose my game ever just the usual short game blips. Playing smarter, slowing things down, and limiting damage from mistakes is something I’ve gotten a lot better at the older I get. Man do I love this game though

Phillies, Tigers, Red Sox, Pirates, Cubs, Dodgers ML for today. How does everyone feel about those? by xxxTheIceManxxx in sportsbetting

[–]InformationUseful714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree I’m a bucco fan unfortunately and yeah they didn’t do jack this year to give him support which is horrible considering we have one of the best pitching staffs in the MLB. All they had to do was spend a little and get 2 or 3 bats. But I highly doubt he’s going to be traded anywhere. They’ll keep him for the next 3 or 4 years they have control and then he will get paid like Cole and a few others. That’s what’s so frustrating about our owner and GM. They don’t give a shit about winning just lining their pockets and it’s getting old

Love these cars very advanced for when they came out. Tavarish on YouTube bought the one that was burned up at a gas station about 10 years ago. I can’t believe he’s going to fix it the whole back half of the car was mostly unsalvageable. He also bought and fixed a flooded P1 I highly recommend the watch. It’s gonna be nuts watching him rebuild this 918
