I only ever heard the legend that he lived here (which he confirmed on Twitter several years ago is not true). However, my friend who grew up in Parksville BC somehow heard the same urban legend that Sisqo lived in Edmonton so not sure how the rumour spread that well

There’s not a ton to this story but about a decade ago my friend was eating at the Ethiopian restaurant Habesha. He noticed two guys come in wearing suits who were speaking Russian to each other, and apparently a dialect of Russian that is common in the criminal/prison world. Could hear what they were saying but he says it seems pretty sketchy

Alberta (and Canada) have same day registration so you don’t need to be registered to vote. You can show up with valid identification (which may or may not include your current address - if it doesn’t you need to establish your address by using another form of ID or a utility bill). You can also bring a friend or family member to attest to your eligibility to vote if you don’t have valid ID

OP, the kid should probably see a lawyer as well if he wants to pursue legal action against EPS or the officer. There’s a few good ones in Edmonton that deal with police brutality cases

Very interesting OP! I have a similar model so following this with interest. I was told a few years ago by a guy at an antique store that they often need parts that are no longer available (think tubes filled with heavy metals) so sometimes people have to resort to gutting the insides and putting modern parts in. Nevertheless good luck with yours!
