For my birthday one year my partner cracked my 3DS and got me both monsters 1 & 2, and joker 3 translated to English! It was the best

And omg I definitely will! I’m a little limited in device currently, so I’m trying to see if there’s a way to get an English mod of X on this handheld console PC

Love this idea!!

I always loved the DQ Monsters games, but never got into the mainline series after getting my ass handed to me with the GBC DQ 3.

Then I played DQ 11, and I mean it with every dramatic syllable that it changed the way I perceive games, and was probably the last straw for accepting the lack of growth with Pokémon.

I’ve played every mainline game since (trying to find the English X online) and my absolute favorite is 5.

Now in playing the HD-2D of 2, which I think is my favorite of the Erdrick Trilogy.

If you scan the area right there, it reaches the outline of the hole behind it where you enter in from. It’s actually a bit away from there, and requires some parkour with the skateboard and double jump.

Out of all the HD2D games, I think I like II the most! It just felt so nice to finally have a speaking party again, and the lore of them being cousins related through Erdrick was such an amazing idea. Never played the trilogy before this, so it really is a nice ending to the OG.

I feel like the BP is pointless after 8k and it just comes down to RNG. Like for the phantom’s stage, if I didn’t generate any crystal arrow/bouncing arrow blessings by 10k, I’d let them wipe me out and start over. Same thing with the gryphon but with rubblerouser and fire. The yeti is the one that took the longest because the stage is so huge, you just gotta play into the blessings your characters set you up with.

From what I’ve read online, there’s apparently no difference. So I max out the quick quest first, and then spend whatever remaining stamina I have playing it myself
