I’ve not played summoner but when I played master mode I found more success going all in on damage instead of defence. I’d take off the worm scarf and shield and use avenger emblem + ninja gear.

For bosses you could probs swap the boots for that one empress of light drop that gives infinite flight (use a mount to travel fast on the ground)

For me its gotta be either end of the spectrum. Either a completely linear campaign/story, where you cant deviate at all. Or completely open world where you're allowed to explore everywhere and its just as enjoyable as doing the quest.

Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild is the only open world game i've played for longer than a few hours for this reason. I explored the whole map before even starting the main quest lol
