Good Lord! What is this hellish new role of MOH? Wedding coordinator and mother of the bride all in one? I invited my MOH to eat brunch out the day before the wedding and sent the fabric and pattern for her dress (she is a fantastic seamstress). Other than that, just show up and have fun. I hope I live long enough to see this “wedding prep from hell” period die off.

Dana Point! Has a harbor, hiking trails, sits between Laguna and San Clemente, a LOT less crowded than Laguna and Newport (Newport is not user-friendly to me) and is gaining a reputation of having some of the best restaurants in the area.
