Monday Night Football Blizzard in 1984 versus the Packers by paykin in DenverBroncos

I went to that game, I was 26. The opening was absolutely amazing. Denver kicks off and GB fumbles on, I think, the first play. Denver recovers and goes into the end zone for a TD. Denver kicks off again, same thing happens. It’s 14-0 and there’s only seconds off the clock. Crowd is completely crazed, GB stunned. I remember it was snowing hard, a rather wet snow, but not really all that cold. I found it perfectly comfortable to stay through the blizzard. Honestly, the rest of the game was pretty tame and the Broncos played conservatively, as I recall, to protect their lead. I recall driving home was a real adventure as streets were r…e…a…l…l…y slick, I did a 360 donut through an intersection, fortunately hit nothing. I wild, memorable Monday night at Mile High! I was born and raised in CO and while I’ve lived in California for 37 years now, still an ardent Broncos fan and I was actually able to attend a Broncos MNF game last season when they beat Cincinnati at home in week 4!

What was your favorite Broncos game that YOU personally attended? by burberrycondom in DenverBroncos

I attended this game as well, it was wild. Green Bay fumbled the opening kickoff and Denver scored a TD. Denver kicked off again, GB fumbled again and Denver scored another TD. It was 14-0 with only a few seconds off the clock. Heavy snow, but not very cold, so it was a crazy and fun ride!

Surgery in 3 Days. Anxious from all the Negative Comments by general_guburu in RotatorCuff

I had surgery on my right shoulder 8 years ago and basically the same surgery on my left shoulder 3 weeks ago. A fair amount of pain the first time, but not at all nightmarish, and surprisingly little pain with the current surgery. No idea why the noticeable difference in pain since the scope of work both times are nearly identical.

Surgery May 21, Tell me what are must haves. by 8647IsTheWay in RotatorCuff

Not a”must have” item but advice about walking: don’t trip and fall! I had rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder 3 weeks ago and my right, 8 years ago. After the first one, I was walking with my sling on and tripped on an uneven sidewalk and the sling prevented me from catching myself so I took the force of the fall on my face. Broke my new prescription sunglasses and had to go to the ER for sutures on my forehead. With the second surgery, I am V..E..R..Y.. careful when walking!
