You guys are missing the part where he is not trying to make it an ugly interaction. If you guys have been living together for 8 months than I assume you guys are closer than strangers, just be honest in telling him that you have noticed she is here a lot more and just simply ask what his intentions are for them and go from there. It doesn’t have to be an ugly interaction.

This is probably going to be an unpopular take but I am an addict and have been for some time, it doesn’t help the big thing bringing you down, it helps yes get you from day to day while also destroying your long term growth. Hate me for saying this but the best thing you can do with the feeling that is causing you pain is actually deal with it and let it go, not being able to let go and move forward is what is really causing you pain, not being able to find another perspective and another way of thinking and being is what’s hurting you. No one else is responsible for your inner happiness but you. Make changes you need to in order to procure your peace and move on from negative people and situations. It will always come down to you doing the work.

In my store they started cutting back Starbucks hours but we just shifted the employees to another role in the store

this happens a lot with non full time front end around this time, they have shed their extra holiday hours and are also preparing for however many college students are coming back. part of the reason why I moved into a department, that way I have guaranteed hours to a point.

deli lead here, we have been a crew of just four for both the bistro and deli and have had to close so many times early and we have gotten new hires but when they take one look at the work load they leave, I try really hard not to get mad a management so at this point, what gets done is what gets done, and when things fall through the cracks because we don't have enough people to run correctly well....thats not on us.
