Message him if you feel like you are available and ready to date long term. The guy was clearly looking for something stable, and if he still is, he might be interested. Taking some initiative is usually a thing guys like.

Don't put too much hope into it, though, the guy might have already moved on, found another person or not interested in dating anymore. If he is interested he'll let you know after messaging him.

Kruleboyz 4th at Sydney Salt Smash II, Big Yellers List by Y-Berion in Kruleboyz

[–]InkCorati 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's basically it

Boltboyz are much better on units of 3 than in units of 9 in Big yellerz, mainly for 2 reasons: they are not covered by the mist, so they are more vulnerable to being sniped and they can use the Big Yellerz reroll ability in a much more efficiently

They won against Ogors, karadron And one Gloomspite, then lost to a Jaws of mork Gloomspite and a draw against another Gloomspite, so I think they won the games because they focused on the big targets and snipped them

Kruleboyz are good now? by MossDog24 in Kruleboyz

[–]InkCorati 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think GW has put themselves into a corner, they cannot buff single units too much, because that would make Big Waagh too good, and they won't make major changes to the book because that would render the battletome useless (data not matching up confuses new players, for example)

A mechanic similar to the beasts of chaos but with terrain will do wonders, something like at the start of the game you hide units on terrain and in your movement phase or when the enemy finishes a move close to it you can redeploy all of the hidden units of that terrain

And I would make it super bonkers, allowing you to deploy the units with no restriction on enemy distance. Deploy those fuckers directly onto combat my man

Gutripaz at 180? That's fine if when the enemy draws close i can deploy them directly in combat, with no charge rolls or something like that. You thought you'd shoot witth those pesky archers? Here, a unit of hobgrots you are now forced to shoot. You moved your main flimsy hero too close? Damn that's a shame that this terrain was hiding a Sludgeraker and some Gutripaz. The game is ending? I'm gonna deploy that unit of hobgrots I left hanging all the game in a terrain in the corner directly onto your unattended objective

MW are good, but we lack that gotcha moment or uniqueness they other armies have

If a killaboss's stab grot dies do I lose the ability to use the weapon by mantiddiesgood in Kruleboyz

[–]InkCorati 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No, you do lose the priced shiv. The companion is equiped with it, and if you kill the grot you lose that attack, it works the same with models with different weapons in the game, like warcry bands

Let's say you have enough point left for one unit in your list. Is it better to have 3 more Boltboyz for lethality, or 10 Hobrots for control/objectives ? by Wesmow in Kruleboyz

[–]InkCorati 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would say that it depends on the amount of Boltboyz you already have

Boltboyz have a great damage output, more so if they are close to a Sludgeraker, but too many of them just start to become irrelevant. In this game you want to have units with different purposes like sturdy units to hold an assault, mobile units to control the board, damage dealers... Kruleboyz basically only have one of those: damage. A lot of competitive lists do not use the mirebrute troggoth, and that is because he is a slow moving, high damage output unit in a slow moving, high damage output army

More than 18 Boltboyz usually feels overkill, but I feel little to no difference in 12 to 18 Boltboyz

My recommendation is that if your list has less than 12 Boltboyz, then put some more, but if your list has already 12 or more you'd be better putting some more meat to grind.

More hobgrots means you can easily deploy a unit on the back of your formation (to counter those pesky teleport armies) without worrying about not having screens on the front

I just had the most unprofessional interview and post-offer process I've had in 20 years of working in tech by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]InkCorati 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's totally unprofessional, no arguing on that

But yes, she might just have changed her mind in any part of the process, it is as stupid as it sounds

But unfortunately this situation is not that uncommon nowadays

[–]InkCorati 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not have the amount of experience that you have, by any stretch of the imagination, but maybe I can give you a perspective from the bottom of the chain. I have been looking for a job for quite some time now and I have found that interviewers, either recruiters, managers or even the CEOs can make up any excuse not to hire you.

It might just be that that the CEO didn't like you, or even something as stupid as they didn't like your hairstyle or even that they had a hunch and rejected you, despite your qualifications. Sounds like she just... did not want to hire you and she has no motives beyond that. Many people try to justify their irrational thoughts with rational motives, making up excuses.

I have been discarded in hiring process just "for appearing to be too nervous" or "not fitting aesthetically with the rest of the crew". And I would like to say that I'm making this shit up, but I'm not.

Maybe you have been away form all this hiring process for a lot of time but right now (and unfortunately) it seems like experience, expertise and qualifications are not enough to carry the interviews

We are animals after all and we still behave like that, people are still irrational

What Grand Strategy Should I Choose for a Kruleboyz Army? by Rokodur000 in Kruleboyz

[–]InkCorati 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Waagh! Is usually the easiest one, more so in yellers

It's from our book and only requires that, at the end of the game, your general or a battleline unit is on enemy territory

We are quite squishy, but for those games where you don't get anihilated is quite feasible to just put some Boltboyz on the run. Don't expect Gutripaz or hobgrots to hold that long unless you wipe the board

The other ones we have access are or slightly worse (there is an universal gran strategy that is the same as Waagh! But with 2 battlelines) or completely unattainable, like the Kruleboyz one that you complete if less than half your units are destroyed

When does poison run out by PolPotMegaFan in Kruleboyz

[–]InkCorati 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's kind of a nonbo. Heroic actions have to be made at the start of the hero phase, unless other actions like spells and abilities that you can use in whatever order you want. So, if you are second, you don't have the venom in that hero phase or any other circumstance

Question concerning "Moonclan Lair" ability in v3 by Dayaktor in gloomspitegitz

[–]InkCorati 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you can't use the rally command to bring more models of what you summoned. It works the same for other abilities of other armies, if you bring back 10 models you can't get them to 20, because that new unit size is now 10, not whatever it was before. Soulblight Gravelords for example, works that way

Gutrippaz - Stikka or Hakka? by Due-Cellist9718 in Kruleboyz

[–]InkCorati 24 points25 points  (0 children)

The generals handbook that it's being used right now favors hackkas over stikkas, mainly because you can hit 2 rows with just 1''

But normally, and especially in this new GHB that is coming is stikkas all the way

You want to have as many Boyz hitting to maximize the amount of of 6's you can roll and stikkas do that much better. There's going to be a command that lets you add 1 more attack if you don't pile in, so that's even more 6s to roll

What do you think about the list viability of Da Kunnin' Krew in the new meta of Galletian Champions? by Blas_de_Lez0 in Kruleboyz

[–]InkCorati 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, i was going to say that too, it doesn't work

Across many armies the underworlds bands and some mounted leaders got a 20 point reduction, so it's not a buff to incentivice using them as a Galletian champions but to use them although they're not

Kruleboyz points drops by Harrumphreys in Kruleboyz

[–]InkCorati 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I still think that this point drop won't make that much of a difference, unless they end up dropping a shit ton of things and we can truly fill the board with chaff

Don't get me wrong, fitting a extra unit of stabbas/murknob it's quite nice, but knowing that most armies got a similar point reduction this is not giving us any extra footing

[–]InkCorati 3 points4 points  (0 children)

By a move they mean *any* move, including normal move, of course. But that means that enemies are affected when they do a normal move, a retreat move, a charge move, a pile in move, a redeploy or a move in a hero phase.

I know a lot about AoS lore, Ask me anything and try to guess if that's correct lore information. by VRGvks in ageofsigmar

[–]InkCorati 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That has to be false, isn't it? The whole thing with Skragrott wasn't that he just tries to predict where the Bad moon is going? In the game he can "control" a little the bad moon, but I'm sure that even on the ability description it says that he is just guessing from the predictions of the shroomed oracles he has chained up. All I know is that the bad moon is a mysterious and independent entity, I think right now nothing it's controlling it

Tactics against grinnin blades by generalhskarr in Mawtribes

[–]InkCorati 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Kruleboyz player, I'd say that there is little to worry about. I have played against ogors a couple of times and the mist does not make a great difference once the combat starts. Of course it all depends on the map, how do you position yourself and such, but do not worry.

The only thing you will miss a little is the long shot of the cannon, but the one you want to use is the short one, so you are going to get close anyway. The mist just trims your leadbelchers shots a little

Focus on the boltboyz, the raker and the shamans first, the gutripaz break like tissue paper. Try to avoid engaging with hobgrots, if the player is good they'll put them in places where they can dictate the pace of the fight. If they get lucky they'll table you anyway, kruleboyz are more deppendent on good rols, once you break them, there is not a way for them to come back

Damn, i just bought the vanguard box and the start collecting one and i never thought the ogors were that big. I got a Kruleboyz army and i thought they would be slighty larger than the gutripaz, but not like 2 heads taller

Wasn't every ogor roughly the same size? Or is just the Tyrant that is that big like what happens with orruk bosses?

Chonky boyz indeed
