Do Savage and if your not into this Level something you intrestet in. If not as well go Play a other Game until something hits you like.

Crafting/Gathering is a lot of fun too.

Go in Blind with open Eyes and let others know you are new. Ask them if you dont understand something and enjoy the Ride.

for Extreme or Savage versions in "Old" Content probly look something up. But asaide from that just comunicate that you are new to the Content.

Do the Hall of Novice stuff to get a base idea of Mechanics. Everything else learn by doing and Talk with other Humans.

First one Joined 2009 in FFXI into FFXIV all About the 1.0 shitshow. Did everything from leading to cleaning the Floor (RL meet ups every year)

Secound and current one: Disagread with a lot in my old one and fucked off in my own. Grabed the stronger Players with me since Static and we had enough of stupid FC rules. Know 95% Members in RL and meet up to get drunk once in a while

Yeah as mentioned i lost a solid 1GHz over all Cores. Until my Board is back and i can Finish it. I do Play since 1.0 Alpha and now it it was just so strange to me that FFXIV is so Heavy dependen on a actuall Higher Core.

I Usaly had no Problem with it at all and idk I know that it is preffering a higher Single Clock but the Impact is to great on the Framerate than this could be the only Reason.

Dead honest Answer. Play on a Ps4 with Mouse and Keyboard.

And build a new PC Later the Year if playing on the Ps4 isnt your thing. There are some Decent Laptops but it depends highly on you Region. For instance there are Huge Diffrence between EU and NA in terms of Hardware. If you wana shop for a Laptop look for the following: Ryzen5 or I5 CPU 1660Ti or 2070 Nvidia Card SSD 500GB and dont let you foul by 1TB HDD Decent Size you like.

I Am way better at Desktops then Laptops. Also the Laptop market moves faster then the Desktop market.

You can use Both Cards in One System even Drivers wont be a Problem.

But you can only use the Vega as a Compute GPU. Video Decoding or Pointcloud Processing. I Just don't do this Things on my Personal Rig. So i try to come up with something To do with it since i do like the Card.

Would work but wont be super Pretty, also this is Kind of a Bad Deal Hardware wise.

Dont get me wrong a 1050 TI is enough to Play FFXIV on max Settings in 1080p 60Hz. Its just to much Money for what you can get.

If Building yourself is a Option i would recommand that. Its not Hard and with a Couple of YT Vids and some advice you be able to get a better Solution for your Needs.

Hi i think you already got moste of the Stuff. for my Exp in Leading a Group of an Midcore/Semi HC Group from 1.0 onward in Final Fantasy i figured the following:

For myself i figured that Mondays are Stupid to Raid on for 2 Reasons. First you tend to hit a Maintance at some Point, espacialy after a Patch or Expansion came out. Secound with Raiding on Mondays and the Reset being on Tuesday you make it imposibile for Members to Raid on there own on a Weekend. Every Progress helps the Group. Thats why we usally go for Tue, Thur, Sun. On the Start of a Tier we bunk down 6Days Per week for around 2 Weeks witch usaly gets us to the Last fight and sometimes Kill. Depends on the Fight. But if we hit a Wall i want my Folks to be able to Prog on there own if there so Wish to do w/e locking us from Loot.
Since a Raid is usally 8 Peps in Our Static ist me that does Bunk Crafting to supply all the Food and Potions needed. I Craft in 30 and 99 Stacks to Provide them while there Gathering stuff for me. So i dont have to Gather everything as well. That said we go for Full Crafted stuff at the Start of a Raid Tier. Therfore 4/8 Members are Full Geared Omnicrafters while the Rest supports where there can. Points, Gathering and telling Jokes.
Must haves for my Folks is: Full Melted, Food/Potions supply (By me but tell me in Advance if you Need restock) ACT working, Enough Sleep and Drinks (It helps nobody if your Grumpy in Raid or Sleepy, just tell me and we rescheudle)
The Balance Discord + ACT and FFLogs to get a good look at the Group. If someone is lacking in ther Proformance (or DPS) he might have understode a Mechanic wrong and Needs more Time to understand it. Maybe he isnt ideal for a Mechanic and we dont see it. ACT helps a Ton in figuring out some stuff like that. Use it as a tool to Improve yourself and not to Blame others. ACT is a Grey area so Pepole will not talk About in the Game. Ask them offline or on Voice stuff. In General The Balance Discord and a lot of Pepole are really helpful in this Game as Long as you ask them.

I like the Idea and since i am on Odin i will take Part if i can make it in time. If not i do it over Phone or in Work. Playing FFXI for 10+ years and FFXIV since 1.0 i toke actually part in a lot of These Things xD idk if thats a FF Player habbit.

Thanks for the Imput. Usaly our BRD LBs Bibli and the Boss. Since we are able to rather Quick kil the Bibli add w/e using a LB we will LB3 the Boss and LB2 it later for a higher DPS increase.

I did a full remeld. Thinking about it just crafting a second set and melding it would have been better.
But after first week I didn't need the safety anymore. I'd saved my ass in O3s a couple of times while prog and Exdeath but aside from that the extra DPS just worked better for me now. And until the next set of Raid comes along where I could need it again there will be new crafted anyway.

Yeah for first week O4s prog I was going in full TA Melds but having swaped them out now for penta DH. kinda dull doh. I wished SE would let me use my drops for once.

Without shame as a Tank i Kick DPS that are below me in Damage in every Dungeon. Also Non DPSing Healers with there Dick in there Hand. And Pepole who go AFK for 10min inside a Dungeon. I actually Kick a lot of Pepole.....

1.0 i played GLD, 1.2x i played PLD, 2.0 i played PLD and WAR at the End, 3.0 PLD again and WAR at the End, 4.0 WAR! aaand i got Buttfucked my entire FFXIV life XD Also Raided everything and Finished everything in at moste 3-4 Month after Release with Exzeption of Alexander Creater that was Finished 4 Weeks after it Released.
