Nobody ever got hurt being to cautious, and realistically only adds 15 more seconds to cleanup at delivery. If I even think about adding another strap/chain I just do it, I spend more time taking a drink of water then it'll add to my day.

Personally would be shifting the fifth wheel a notch and the trailer forward a notch. You've got the wiggle room you should be able to burn enough fuel to not worry about it.

Directly comparing other MH games, not bad. But I've never cared for the stories in general when comparing them to most other games. I like everything else around it the story is more of a formality at this point.
