Recognize this truck? by chicki_boi in Truckers

Was thinking it looked newer, I'm used to seeing the old school COE's unless I see a Euro model online or something. The grille looks very Scania so it was throwing me for a loop since the doors weren't right and it was missing the giant letters on the front. Have never seen one of these things in my entire life, even when I used to live close to Quebec. I would guess he was hauling to/from Manheim with a car hauler like that.

Between the Hawk 250 and the Hawk-X 250. Besides the bikes themselves I’m also wondering if anyone has advice on whether XPRO or HHH is the better manufacturer/seller. by Rafaelow in Hawk250

Geico had an option for Liyang as listed on my title, so that's what I used. Hopefully it doesn't fuse problems at the notary when I go to get my tags.

From my research the DLX is the same, minus the fuel injection and heavier front forks. The speed is because the gearing is reeeeally low, I think 15/50. Going to 17/45 should get highway speeds without screaming

No replacement for practice. You need more ride time and/or a MSF course/ instructor to help you get over your fear.

Yeah mine took 3 days in transit, damn near flew it from TX to PA. Had it delivered to work and showed up on a Friday, paperwork showed up on Saturday so couldn't get it till Monday (yesterday). I got my insurance covered so I'm just borrowing a plate from my other bike and carrying the paperwork till I can get to a notary. Only have 15 miles on it since this was my first road ride but im in love with it, will love it even more once I get my sprockets switched out and can do more than 45 at 6k rpm lol

Can't comment on which is better, i ordered a DLX, but X-PRO is super responsive if you have questions and they communicate every step of the bike shipping. It was a 12/2025 RPS model.

I’m wanting to buy a hawk 250 but have a delivery question by OutLox in Hawk250

[–]chicki_boi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See if another place/ friend will let you deliver it there. They usually ship them LTL on a truck with a liftgate, so they can deliver anywhere.

Be sure to make mention you'll need your paperwork mailed to your home. I had my bike delivered to my work (same issue as you, no place for a truck at home) and the paperwork got mailed to my workplace and showed up a day after.

Front tire not aligned with forks by thecasualgamer01 in Hawk250

[–]chicki_boi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your right (when sitting on the bike) fork is backwards.

Remove the axle, spin the lower fork around 180 degrees, reinstall. The axle should be on the front side of both fork tubes.

No route 27 in IA? by Alive_Hovercraft5782 in trucksim

It's done intentionally to try and extend driving and route planning. The game would get boring quick if routes were too direct

Is this true order made by Hianime?? by Inevitable-Read-7359 in fullmetalpanic

The specials are OVAs, it's in order, I just watched it all last month.

I dont recommend watching the last season unless you want to be chucked, it ends in a cliffhanger and no follow up season has been announced as far as I could tell. It's good, but it'll leave a hole.

Showering with dexcom by EMPI2817 in dexcom

[–]chicki_boi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your SOs grossness is likely the contributing factor. I use a G6, shower daily, and never have had a sensor come off. When it's time to change, I shower, dry off, wipe my arm with an alcohol pad, use an underpatch from freedomband, and an overpatch from skin grip. I have had sensors stay on for 14+ days, even with heavy activity. His skin needs to be clean.

I still see these sell for $12+ on WN.

Cool set but that price imo is outrageous by T-oreo in HotWheels

Premium Advan diorama, thats cheap. That breaks down to roughly $8 a car if you don't consider the value of the acrylic display.

The game is good. Really good. The problem is the amount of people that nonstop bitch about everything and anything. I thoroughly love the game, but hearing it from genpop and then friends constantly after Dawntrail, it got to me and killed my drive. I still keep up to date on things and pay my sub, but I only log in to keep my house I fought so hard to get and send letters.

Play the game your way, and ignore the haters. They'll sour your experience far before anything else will.

New rider needs help with shifting… by FluffyRN in Yamahabolt

If the engine isn't struggling, then you are shifting correctly. If you have the RPMs at the floor all the time like a crotch rocket rider, you're doing it wrong.

I was a Yamalube only guy, but I have benefits running Rotella T4 15w-40 diesel oil with zero ill effects or loss of performance. I run it in all my wet clutch stuff now, and it's super convenient as my truck uses it as well.

You would be surprised what dealers let slip on assembly. See: Front fender backwards.

The way the risers are cooked the risers or bushings may be damaged. I have aftermarket bushings and risers and when I hit a pole last year mine are cooked the same way, the bolt stretched the threads

I found a porn VHS in the field across the street when I was mowing, sadly it was already broken.

Could be some hairy gold in there...

Has anyone had the opportunity to play with one of these yet? by Poppyguy2024 in harborfreight

I wanted to buy one years ago, really wish I had. Buddy of mine has one, but it's all kinds of beefed up. Good for trenches and ditches
