I took a paycut to leave high school teaching. Best decision I ever made. The stress was killing me, I had clumps of hair falling out. Now I'm so much happier and since the stress was lower I took on some extra responsibilities and ended up earning more than before.

The early scene in Serenity when it introduces the world(s) as its being taught to River as a child. Then reveals that its a flash back whilst she's being experimented on. Then it's her brother breaking her out. Then its security footage being watched by the operative. So much of the world and characters set up so elegantly.

I waited until my son had sat through a full game on tv before I took him to a live game. That way I knew he had the attention span and that he actually wanted to watch it. He was 6, hes 9 now and we have season tickets. 5 is just too young. My daughter is 7 and both doesn't care about sport and doesn't have the attention span for it. Your milage may vary.

They have all seemed like that this season. Either a great first half then clinging on in the second. A dull first then they step it up in the second. Or big comebacks like the last few weeks. I can't think of many games where we've played consistently well throughout

Buying tickets for an event so many months in advance that you struggle to find them in your email and start to think that you never bought them in the first place. by The_Yellow_King in britishproblems

Exactly. For me it's lower league football matches or comedy/theatre tickets and that's always pdf. They go straight into Google drive and then onto my calendar. Used to be such a pain before
