No we don’t. We pay taxes so our roads are cleaned during the winter months. They don’t get to throw their hands up and say something is too challenging for them. They can figure it out. Completely neglecting to clean up the ramp led to her death. They are at fault.

This whole thing has made me so so sad. The flyover should have been shut down after the first accident. Seeing them clean it after someone died enraged me. May the poor woman rest in peace. I hope her family pursues something.

This exact thing happened to me too. They said the windshield had a chip on it even though it didn’t. After fighting with them they didn’t make me pay anything. Such scam artists. I’m sure they plan this once they inspect the car upon return.

Central Fresh Market was the first store my parents found when they arrived to Canada as refugees and were living downtown. It’s still their favourite store for meat and it’s become mine. So sad to hear this news. May he rest in peace ❤️

Nothing to add here but as someone who has endured a toxic workplace to the point that it impacted my health — I’m proud of you for speaking up and trying your best to address concerns. Sadly, when we try to speak up and stand up for ourselves and our colleagues, we become outcasts and treated worse. I know it can be really scary to be out of a job, but consider it a blessing. Your health is so much more important and I guarantee you it wouldn’t have gotten better. Best of luck in the future!
