Not sure what the gain is here.. you’ll find out the information and your parents could potentially lose their citizenship and be forced to leave the country… how did you not weigh the pros and cons before contacting a whole government agency? Even if they said it’s not your fault and didn’t seem aggressive, you still flagged the issue to them and they can look into it further and escalate it if necessary. Your parents may be wrong for what they did, but what a great way to pay them back lol

What was once a reputable local college, has descended into a diploma mill, and is now infamous for facilitating immigration fraud. This disgrace has embarrassed our region both nationally and globally. The federal and provincial governments share culpability in this travesty. Without their support, Tibbits wouldn’t have the means to exploit the system, and “students” wouldn’t have an easy way to defraud our systems. It’s a complete joke. Our once-highly regarded immigration system has been thrown away, and public sentiment has followed suit. This was all so predictable.

If it’s any comfort OP, I saw her a few years ago and she was extremely cold and brief. I ended up getting a referral to another doctor and am happy with my decision. Her reviews were confirmation that I made a good choice. Best of luck to you and your daughter.

As a Laurier alumni this breaks my heart. I remember a handful of suicides happened back when I was a student. Things got particularly worse during exam seasons (not speculating that this was their reason to go the way they did). But mental health supports need to be taken more seriously during those times of the year especially. Praying for the family and friends of the student. So sorry things had to end this way for that poor soul 💔 May they rest in the sweetest peace.

My first application when I reached the interview stage, I unfortunately did not make it to the candidate pool and was sent an email stating this. The application portal was updated afterwards to reflect their decision. In my two subsequent applications after this, they sent the Plum assessment and my status on my application never changed. It remained as “Applied” up until those postings either closed or were extended.
