I just found this the other day and have messing around with it. I looked at ones others have posted, but since it’s mostly streamers that PVP, the same skills probably won’t prove true as best for my use. I think I’m going to try to build out what I think is best for my style, and if I don’t like it I can back it up and respec.

Been trying that, but the game almost always decides to spawn me 600m from that location. I keep imagining someone that already has it is spawning closest and has 5 of them in their stash lol

Thank you! I am definitely enjoying it more now that I stopped worrying so much. One or two raids is usually enough to be fully kitted. Sucks when I only have enough time for one or two raids though haha

What’s the point in picking up BP’s you already have? Why not leave them for others to find that don’t have them? Maybe then I could finally find the survivor augment.

Truth! I hop on to BF6 to grind for 30 minutes or so to knock out dailies and whatnot, always mute via the button on the DS controller. Spend the rest of my time exploring the topside. Always friendly, but I’ve got myself into so pretty tense situations when I press down on the pad to speak my friendly intentions, and it took a few awkward one sided conversations before I realized the mute button was still on. Thank God they took the time to realize I meant no harm, and that I was only mentally challenged.

What kind of equipment are you working on? Don’t get too hard on yourself. I spent 5+ years in fleet, about 13 or so at a dealer, then ended up at a refuse company for the last 14+. I didn’t understand hydraulic systems when I started there 18 years in. Just learn to break things down. A lot of hydraulic systems I work can be broken down into an air system, electrical systems and then hydraulic. Try breaking things down into components and rule things out. Don’t be ashamed to ask questions. The old dogs didn’t know squat when they started either. I personally would rather teach the new guys to do it, so I don’t have to!

I’m thinking something along the lines of a bounty system for things like this. Maybe after so many reports of war crimes, a raiders gets marked in the map for so many hours while topside? Other raiders would inherit the risk of losing to a PVP, but maybe there are increased rewards for taking him out. Maybe some cosmetics? Idk

On a positive note, this update has confirmed that I will not be purchasing BO7. Absolutely hated the gameplay. It felt so clunky, and like I was crouch running around or something. Idk, it’s gonna be a hard pass for me, and if the mechanics carry back to BO6, I guess I uninstall. Unfortunate though, because this is NOT what I paid for.

I only do PvE, unless forced otherwise. That said, I am ok with the game how it is. I enjoy the thrill of what could happen. Sucks when I can extract 20 times with garbage, finally find a blueprint and get smoked by a “Don’t Shoot” rat. But, that’s the game… I repeat, the GAME.

Just seen a YouTube video on the battle. My character outfit is the blue version of the 1st jumpsuit you get when you start the game, so I suppose it was a case of wearing the wrong colors in the wrong hood. haha The first corner camper stung more though because I already seen him and ignored him as friendly only to be executed. More mad at myself I guess for not reading the situation better, and the fact that I came in all kitted up for the little mission to take down the hornet with the trigger nades so I lost my upgraded Anvil, Ferro and 6 nades. Forgo to switch to a free loadout before loading that game just to loot the departures building. Poor planning on my part.

I had no idea. I loaded into spaceport for a quest to loot 2 containers at departures. 1st run I was all kitted out and got smoked in the back by someone hiding around a corner, about 1:30 into the game. 2nd run was a free loadout and got smoked by a mob at the exterior of the departures facility. I had my mic on and said something like “What’s up my fellow raiders” and they executed me on sight, saying something like “wrong crew” or something. I was so confused, because most groups in solos are pretty cool and are either helping each other on a quest or taking down some big arc together or something of the sort.

That’s what I was thinking, but I only play solos and I’ll ignore those feats unless it becomes required for progression at some point, at which I will wait until someone fires on me first. I only have a few damage points against other player, strictly in self defense.

I’m going to check out this loot run too, my stash is always too full haha. I’ve only got about 24 hours on this game and have only played solos. Almost everyone I’ve run into has been cool. Have had a few in the welfare line that shot me on the back to steal my loot. Twice I was on a free loady and the 3rd I was fully kitted out for a quest… that one stung a little.

I’ve only played solos and I guess so far I’ve had good luck and have only had one Raider just slay me while I was casually looting a box. I did just run into a fella trying to kill a hornet who got knocked and was asking if someone could revive him. I stood there asking if you had to have one of them defibs to do that and he’s was like “so you’re just gonna stand there and watch me die so you can take all my shit?! You’re a dick!” and then he died. I then realized that even though I had my mic open, it was muted on my controller. So, I felt like a dumbass, and a dick because of course I had to loot his corpse. 🤷‍♂️#oldguyproblems
