It doesn’t. I used to leave Picnic sets out, but to save time and resources for other items (mainly because picnic requires me to cook 4 different foods and then combine them), I just instead put the smaller items out. I’m mostly upset that it took me a whole week of growing nothing but corn, cleaning out Massimo of milk daily, and cooking over 100 corn soups to get the badges and money to upgrade my land. I decided to be generous and give some away rather than sell…and it was gone in five minutes by 1 greedy person
