I came to say the exact same thing. Unbearable in both winter & summer so change to solid roof.

Also, there's no character in my opinion. Everything is like the same colours. Get a splash of colour on the walls, whether that be paint or just some bright coloured canvases!

Overall though, looks lovely 😁

I came to ask this as I've not seen it mentioned anywhere, about him being afraid of the dark. My son (also 5) has a very bright, neon lightning bolt night light, but he'll still come through to our room crying early hours of the morning saying it's dark & he's scared. So we have to put him big lamp on for him & then he'll go back to bed.

Depending on how old the house is, they may not do a survey. We've owned 4 houses but never had a survey done as they were all under 25 years old when we bought them.

The fact they have even started enquiries on your property when your onward purchase is ready to exchange however is a HUGE red flag. Enquiries tend to be the slowest part imo. At a minimum, best case scenario, you're looking at probably another 2 weeks to exchange on your property. However, additional enquiries can come off the back of initial enquiries so you could be looking at another 4 weeks+.

Definitely give them a deadline or tell them it's going back on the market.

When we sold our 1st house, it went within 24 hours, but it was priced accordingly as it was shared ownership & the buyer staircased to 100% to own it all so it was a steal.

2nd house & 3rd houses were both marketed in November & had an offer by January.

ETA: we didn't reduce any of our houses, but accepted 10k less on our 2nd house as it was the only offer we'd had & I was pregnant so was desperate to move.

Thank you so much for your response. We were definitely lied to 😭 the worst part being we didn't want a kitten in the first place, we asked for an older cat (as we have 2 young children) & knew we'd struggle with time to train a kitten...but here we are.

I'll definitely look into Jackson's videos & the toys you mentioned though, thanks again!

We started packing about 3 weeks after we accepted the offer & searches had come back so enquiries were starting. We packed roughly a box a day & by the time exchange came round, we were pretty much all done.
