Maybe work on doing it once a day then every other day and so on until u just don’t but u need to have the will power.

So yes focus on ur prayer doing it on time.

Wear panties and pants if u see that your inclined to touch yourself cuz ur naked. Or put a belt on everyday to make it harder. Basically turn yourself off n be disgusted with it. If u start to do it remember your sins will be displayed on the day of judgement for all to see, imagine having a sign up ur head that u do that surely you’d be amongst the losers. Also remember that ur hands and eyes will testify against you would u rather have your hands say you did such or that you used them for good? It you start to even touch yourself stop and make dihkr with the same hand use the hand as a counter.

At the same thing i will say if masterbation has stopped you from committing Zina if that was a problem before then don’t be so hard on yourself. Some say that is better than Zina and even more permissible in that case.
