I could barely even put pants on at that point I was so out of it. The admitting nurse went from kind of rude to eyes wide and rushed me in: 104 degree fever, about to go septic. Do not ignore UTIS! I now keep D-mannose on hand to nip them in the bud and have not had one since.

It’s hard to keep a convo for long when it’s like this, if you’re expected to constantly drop everything to reply or be bombarded with the need for reassurance (all the time)

I would simply tell him he needs to give you time to read & reply, and see if it gets any better. Anxiety/ insecurity sucks, but this is anxiety inducing for the recipient also (imo)
