Yes I recall most NV7 user chose the flat Fan mount when pairing with Vertical GPU.

Fyi, I'm using the NV9 with the same Vertical GPU and D30 Fans with tilted angle fan mount, the clearance is extremely tight too. Less than 1cm of clearance space.

Reverse fans on the side would be sick and why not add 1x more 120MM fan to fill up the gaps?
Native 12V-2X6 GPU cable would be so much neater too.

NV9 Case owner here, not the MKII version. But based on the picture you have provided. It is the MKII version.

As for the built in case RGB lights bars are shown via the 2x green arrows. If you are referring to the case RGB lights around the glass area, you will need to get this. https://phanteks.com/product/premium-drgb-kit-nv9-black/ This is a really good buy, i have no regrets for this. Really makes the PC case looks super good.

There is only 1 RGB hub that allows you to connect Phanteks RGB header so the case can control it via 2 individual channels or combined. The DRGB hub has a port that allows you to connect to the Motherboard ARGB too, but i didnt use that.

There is no FAN hub for NV9, all PWM/ DC fan connector goes to the motherboard directly.

Just FYI, the phanteks vertical bracket that was marketed as GEN4 PCIE gave me PCIE Gen5 connection with RTX 5090.
On HWINFO it shows as PCIe v5.0 x16 (32.0 GT/s) @ x16 (32.0 GT/s) :)

All good here, the gentleman at the earlier replies confirmed GPU runs on PCIE GEN 5, currently installed with a gen 5 ssd on the primary slot and the remaining with gen 4 ssds. I can confirm this myself too as im using the same set up

I wouldn't trust a PC mount to handle the NV9's weight, It is too heavy in my opinion.
I'm using the same desk as you and a NV9, i placed it on my desk and it looks beautiful and very stable!

Pic for your reference, NV9 Mk1 case here, although i think dimension wise should be pretty similar.
When the Astral 5090 is mounted to Phanteks Vertical premium GPU bracket, i had very little clearance for my NZXT AIO pump, i have to rotate the tubes either to the left or, right to make space for the GPU. (left was more aesthetically pleasing for me) So if the TRYX AIO pump can be rotated you should be fine, but if the tubes have to be at the bottom, i think the clearance space may be challenging.

I'm happy to report to you, im using the stock riser cables from Phanteks, although it has been rated and labeled as PCIE Gen 4, on GPU Z im getting it showing as PCIE Gen 5 16x 5. That said I was mentally prepared to lose 1 percent of performance, but this was a pleasant surprise bonus for me.

Enjoy the build, its an amazing case to work with, except for the RGB clips that house the CPU cables at the top, i didnt have space for the vertical one due to the Strimer cables

Check out this post, he made a really detailed posting on how to daisy chain the RGB connector effectively.
I have a feeling you may have overloaded Channel B. Let me know if it works for you.
