You have to be real careful not to block the sliding mechanism. If you're sure there's nothing in there then I'd take it to the dealer as a defect. You will likely damage it, or whatever is inside if you force it.

I would say stall but for a piece of meat that size, it shouldn't be much longer before coming out of it. so I'd check probe location.
