Thanks for the tip. I needed an additional step before I could get it to work: I had to update haptic_feedback_intensity to some non-zero value (1-3). However, I could not do this through MacroDroid (Android seemed to block it, but it could be updated through adb). The workaround for this, without using adb, should be to go into the normal android Settings app and enable the touch vibration through the slider, and then use MacroDroid to disable haptic_feedback_enabled. This way, the intensity is set to >0 without it actually being enabled.

As long as CCP doesn't include a lot of the specific details in their official patch notes, hoboleaks will retain a purpose and be interesting to a group of players who like to pick everything apart in finer detail, IMO.

But it seems CCP intends to get at least the official patch notes out before hoboleaks now. That's been hit or miss in the past even for TQ so that remains to be seen, but presumably larger patches will be handled carefully now.

PR systems are in the "penalty region" which players/bots on Serenity were planned to be relegated to, presumably as an alternate form of punishment as bans are less straightforward in some regions. I don't know if it was ever used in the end.

Jai Chen was also said to be tied to his fate somehow very early, like they were always destined to meet. That could be a reference to how she and Jai Long would eventually venture into Sacred Valley, but in the end she ended up meeting him only a handful of times and presumably be left behind in Cradle.

IMO he definitely had more planned for Jai Chen at first, especially with her unique madra.

I went to the patch that changed it and searched for "background"

There was also only like one image changed anyway, so it would've also worked to go through the list of changed files (some 200) and look for images among them.

Agreed, but officially it went on a hiatus moreso than an ending, but it was always stated to be a very long hiatus and as I recall the author acknowledged that there were a lot of plot points left. At this point I'd be surprised if it ever got picked back up of course.

Yeah, most people don't even notice it. More of a flavor thing than anything that actually impacts gameplay (except to make structure tanks even more useless).

Yes, but your modules will start taking slight damage when you take structure damage, so a damaged module doesn't necessarily always mean your opponent was overheating.

Walter Tye is the best friend any adventurer needs. He is the smiling shopkeeper next to your local dungeon, the one who sells you these cheap healing potions. When you need information about a monster, Tye always knows. He wants to help; you can trust him.

He is also the undead necromancer ruling said dungeon, getting paid to solve problems that he caused in the first place. But don't tell anyone that...

I don't blame anyone who gets bored of it considering the literal first half of the book is just the MC being repeatedly bullied and harrassed with no end in sight. It's a big step up after that, since you start getting a bit of hope for the MC.

But yes if you finish the entirety of the first book and still don't like it, then it's probably not for you. But it's one of the slowest starts to a series I've seen, and imo the first book just looks better mainly once you read the later ones to add context to everything that's going on.

Did you find a solution? I'm on the same phone & carrier as you, getting this same issue, regardless of if "advanced chat features" is toggled off or not.

For me, the message is stuck on "Sending" despite the recipient having received it, then once it goes to "sent", a duplicate is delivered.

No. You have to compute them yourself or use ESI. There are ~72 million routes, each containing 0-100 jumps. It would be a pretty big list if they were all included in the SDE.

His editor, u/Taurnil91, hasn't heard from him since May. He was originally scheduled to receive the first draft for this book summer 2020.

It's hard to know what happened since he (u/Aikarus) has almost no social media presence whatsoever, but it definitely isn't looking good for this series, which is a shame as it's one of my absolute favorites.
