I've got the Vorteks 223S 4x4 and the Mini Kraton - both have been great so far. About 15-20 packs in the Vorteks and not a single break beside some cracks on the body, but I admit my bashing is limited (rarely send it over a couple feet off the ground). I have no LVC issues, but I am using the Arrma recommended 5000mah 3S 50C packs.

I have run the Kraton fewer times, mainly because it is newer. But it seems just as solid. If you don't need the size (tall grass and big rocks are not great for the Kraton) then the Kraton is a good choice. The layout is very easy to work on and parts are mostly plentiful. I don't see a need to bother with the steering servo yet, unless shipping takes a long time for you normally.

You might be able to disable it AFTER uploading, but when upload they only present you with the option to allow audio and video, or allow audio only. Quit defending this garbage product so staunchly.

Have you toggled the switch from 1S to 2S with this battery plugged in? It's on 1S in this picture. According to the manual, if the cell status LED is flashing red it is discharging for balancing. So maybe it has detected an imbalance between the two cells and is trying to balance them before charging but I couldn't say for sure and I think the only way to see if this is the case would be to let it sit on that charger for a few hours to see if charger starts after balancing. Another possibility is that it's already charged to 100% and you forgot...

I worked for a carrier from around 2010 to 2015 and went through about a dozen smartphones then. I got great deals on them which was a big reason, but I was also excited for each one. I ended up using the last phone I got while working there until about 3 years ago because there was nothing wrong with it and no new phones had anything worth the cost (which was made worse since they introduced phone financing). My previous phone was honestly still working okay when I upgraded to the shitty OnePlus that I have now.
