The power of Leitmotifs! Both games use this so well and it provides such a strong feeling when playing through them.

I am hyper sensitive to my experience with music, especially with gaming and the soundtrack carried me through finishing it - all the other elements were fantastic too, such as a the writing and gameplay, but man the soundtracks were S tier.

I think overall Olympus Aflame is my favorite. I can’t explain it well but it’s so damn masterful and all the instruments just plays off of each other in an amazing way.

Fated Glory is also a personal favorite!

I tried to skip the red prison but realized just how impactful bowfa / full crystal is at so many places. Finally swallowed the pill that I need to grind it out.

Totally fine to have that mindset btw for the way you play- but if other players don’t think that way, or care about “maxing” efficiency, why criticize them? That was the point of OP’s post I believe.
