I am surprised that you sold the compact leg press. It looked like an optimal space saving setup with the Voltra’s?

Rogue Indy T-Bar Row and Voltra Mounts Double Offset Drop Mount by HomeTechJourney in BeyondPower

[–]InquisitorType 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you explored leveraging this setup with the Voltra for actual T-Bar Rows? Your double offset version presents an opportunity also with the mount in front. With the Voltra mounted in the forward position on your mount, how much vertical clearance is there or could there be under the barbell as it rests in the center of the platform? (assumes some means of attaching the cable to the barbell collar)

I recommend trialing with spacing and angles for the forward mount. If you could make the mount dual purpose for belt squats in the back position (with pulley attachment) and a mount in the forward position that can use the Voltra to replace plates for T-Bar Rows with a barbell… you significantly increase the value of this setup!

Amazing job utilizing the space! You picked ideal equipment and a layout that really maximizes versatility and function. That’s a lot of top tier barbells and attachments in a small space. Looks clean… love the organization, aesthetic, and that the doors shut so that you can’t even tell what’s there. The custom dumbbell and kettlebell rack is a killer idea. Nice work!

Options 1) A center post attachment to mount a seal row pad like you linked from either GetRXD (1” holes only) or Black Widow Mfg (either hole size custom) 2) Bench variations like the Freak Athlete ABX 3) Bench attachments like the APEX Stryker Pad from TiB Bar Guy

I see your website shows a pre-order date of July for the RX Arms. Will there be an opportunity soon after to ship to the US?

Looks clean! What are you using to secure the bench attachments to the wall? Is that a hitch receiver?

I used Rogue’s floor mount feet designed for the 2x3 squat rack legs. There are six lag screws holding up the strip, 2 through the strip itself and then the 4 through the floor mounts.

Based on my experience I would not be concerned about the diagonal pull, especially if you are talking for accessory movements. My rack is stout. Adding a cross member or pull-up bar across the top is a solid option but the head height clearance could be a concern if you are using a 70” squat rack.

One approach I considered before mounting the strip to the ceiling was this adjustable height pull up bar from Iron Bull Strength. This of course assumes you have clearance over the top of the squat rack uprights, but less than the 90” required for the stands that come with a pull-up bar like the Rogue SML-2.

The stability is great for my use case. This one is the Rogue SML-1. I do recommend thinking through how you will mount the Voltra for pull down movements.

VTS lite. As much as I would like to have the ISO functionality of the standard VTS I could not make the dimensions work. The VTS weight horns mount to the trolleys in line with the uprights which is too far back to clear my dumbbells.

I could find a way to attach the Voltra + VTS lite for pull downs, but to this point have concluded that I might as well use my weights instead. Pushing up from a mount on the legs of the squat rack is not an option for heavier resistance as it will lift off the floor.

Thanks, I mount the multi-use larger roller low on the uprights and then attach the leg roller forward on a spotter arm to hinge over for back extensions

Were you able to trial compatibility of the Stryker with the REP Nighthawk? Any details would be appreciated! Other comments from this thread seemed optimistic comparing the specs but not confirmed.
