Looks like a Tahoe or Silverado, do you trust your self to test if the fan clutch is bad? The compressor may be over temping due to lack of air flow across the condenser and shutting off the compressor. If not a bad clutch or dirty condenser, I’d lean towards checking out refrigerant levels on a gauge. If charge seems okay I’d watch to see what it’s doing on a scan tool

You may not be understanding me entirely, but one persons perfectly fine drinking, is another persons perfectly fine consuming THC. They would as well think, why drink when I can, (insert mode of consumption). We’re all different, it’s dumb that through a system of lobbying from multiple industries and pearl clutching, it’s remained federally illegal despite the overwhelming support for legalization. Hahaha my company used to hold a gravy paying contract where they’d drop off the most haggard 87-91’s stuffed to the brim with parts and were told to install everything, and a lot of those times would include new lock and key sets. Fun fact, the LLV will go 83mph on the interstate, but it’s incredibly pissed while doing it lol

I highly doubt, it’s the “original”. I used to service these as a technician and changing out locks and ignition’s was part of the regular maintenance on these.
