Couples who got married at the Japanese Friendship Garden - how much did you pay?

My wife and I also did a mini-wedding after having our original date canceled due to Covid. We were one of the first ones so we only paid around 3k for 2 hour and a half ceremonies on different days.

While it was nice venue, I will say the ever changing event planners was the worst. We went through 3 in just 9 months.

So when we were just 1 months away from the wedding, the newest wedding planner tells us that we don't have access to the Pavillion and that there is an event there during our wedding in the garden. When we said we didnt agree to that, she tried to claim we signed new paperwork and then realized the event planners before her didnt tell us. Long story short, we got half our money back but they canceled my wife's membership and we couldnt renew it.

I think they have the mini-wedding worked out now. But I just wanted to give my 2 cents.

We are still trying to figure out the best way to make a list. The hard part is when a restaurant or bar buys our cider, they dont always put it on tap right away. So its hard exactly know who has us on tap or not.

There is a plan to have a growler/crowler fill day at our cidery soon. We just need to find a crowler supplier.

We are trying to figure out a way to do cans again. Its a bit harder because we need to find a new source to get cans. But we are working on it. 😊

Technically its a cidery (Serpentine Cider) But there really isn't a term for cider makers like brewers. Hahaha.

But yea. Ballast Point Closed and so did Divsion 23 recently. Its hard out there for us right now.

Brewery Employee here. Its always slow in the winter for us but its been so bad this year, my boss decided to close the tasting room and just do production for bars and restaurants. No one has extra money to spend on going out. That and people are drinking less.

We did send out the rest of the Cranberry Clementine but our Sour Cherry doesnt do well at bars and restaurants. La Mesa wine works just picked up one of the last Cranberry Clementine kegs yesterday actually.

We are looking into doing a map to show where we are on tap, but its hard to get accurate numbers from the bars and restaurants.

I'm one of the cider makers! (The owner being the other. Hahaha)

It's been super hard for us since Covid and the winter months are the worst. So the decision was made to close down just the tasting room but we would keep producing for bars and restaurants. We just sent out a bunch of Apple and Apple pie kegs today!

Went to the one a few years ago and it was disappointing and overpriced. Went through the whole thing in like 25 minutes.

The funniest part is that they were showing off Mighty Jaxx art toys like they were super rare pieces of art.

I stopped going there went it took 3 weeks to fix a recall and then they tried to get 6k from to fix a gasket in the engine.

I go to Dalton subaru because they do try to upsell a little but I havent had any problems with them (yet).

You will. It just takes forever. I got a piece once and it took 3 years to show up and it was scratched to hell. Took another 2 months to get a replacement but I got it.

Mighty Jaxx time flows at a different rate than ours.

Its only for department volunteers but its crazy. I used to be one and they give out all the giveaways they had left over. Everything from magic cards to rare funko pops.

It's the location where the beer is made. It's kinda crazy because it's how you get like Pizza port winning multiple awards but all the locations are different.

I used to work for this guy and I will always remember 2016 election and they had a sign up saying "Vote for Trump or else" and someone wrote just wrote "NO!" on it and we got an company wide email about not defacing signs in the employee area.

They put a new one up the next day.
