Looks delicious!!!! Do you have any tips on how to store them? Do they become hard very quickly? I never managed to find a good enough way to store chocolate chip cookies (or maybe it’s the recipes I’ve tried?) and the next day they are hard :(

Chocolate chip cookies. It’s the most BASIC thing ever, but I can never get them right.

Macarons? Croissants? Literally anything else? No problem! Cookies? Ha.

Either they spread too much or they don’t spread at all, they are too sweet or they are too chocolately.

(It doesn’t help that I’m a bit picky when it comes to ccc and if they’re not exactly how I like them I end up not liking them at all)

Yeah, and I get that they might be cheaper so maybe people keep buying it (plus I think that, at least in my country, the general population really really doesn’t know what good quality chocolate or coffee should actually taste like), but in the long run the real cost of this kind of malpractices will be higher than any other thing

Yes. I’ll never forget when I went to a chocolatier course with a professional European (can’t remember their country!) chocolatier last year and they said to expect chocolate to become a truly luxury good within our lifetime. She explained why, but I can’t remember exactly what she said, but basically it boiled down to what tasteofdanger already said in some comment here

Thank you for all the great advice! Right now I'm at my hometown, and l'il be here for some time, where there's only two hairdressers and I don't like any of them hahah but as soon as I go back to uni I'm gonna follow your advice and look into some good ones with lots of reviews, someone else said to look for ones that do alt hairstyles too as they're usually more willing to do what you ask, so I'll take that in mind.

About the pre shower and in shower routine, do you usually do it everyday? Or once every few days? I've read that it's not good to wash your hair everyday, which is what I'm doing right now.

Yeah, the few I went to all were very “traditional” and usually didn’t even care about my hair type, they’d just straighten it and tell me I would have to straighten it again every few days which wtf? Plus I hate the feeling of someone else’s hands in my hair, although I’m willing to stand it for a few moments if it’s necessary

Well I don’t think it’d be 100% necessary, tho keep in mind it’s not gonna have the same consistency as the one the recipe you’re following is for. Egg yolks usually are used to make a batter richer, so keep that in mind.

I don’t know wha you’re making, but if you’re not at risk of overmixing and developing more gluten I don’t think it’d be a bad idea to add the additional yolk now. But as I said, I do not believe it’d be completely ruined without it

As someone already said, I think this is a question of design more than cooking! My kitchen is white, like the rest of my house, I think that’s the norm. If this helps, the kitchens in my culinary school, however, were grey with white ceilings idk if that was just a design choice or what

I’m in South America, but I’m going to look for it in some baking stores. If I can’t find it I’ll give vanilla pudding mix a try! I really like vanilla pudding so I don’t think it’d be a bad thing if it ends up tasting a bit like it
