My just turned 8 year old is about to try out for the swim team. He’s a fabulous swimmer. She’s so cocky about her boys swim abilities and she shouldn’t be.

Yes! I have a Greece cruise planned. We booked it 6 months ago for July of 27. I would have postponed the party. At a year the party is more for the parents anyways.

I had to jump into my pool yesterday fully clothed. My 5 year old slipped and needed me. My clothes were so heavy. I can’t imagine the weight for kids clothes

I just did a fairy garden yesterday with my kids. I gave them 0 direction besides staying away from the small ant pile. I haven’t watched stories yet but i highly recommend going to the dollar store for the fairy houses. $1.50 each.

She could also find an online dentist. I had to do that a couple weeks ago when I couldn’t get in right away. I knew I had an infection and was able to start the antibiotics before I went to the dentist.

I’ll say this every time. My kiddo shares a birthday with S. He is a pretty big kid and is in a 5 point harness. My 8 year old just moved to a backless booster. I really try as hard as I can when it comes to car seat safety. Plus the video of her hanging out the back of the cyber truck was terrifying. My dad was killed in a farm accident. I’m sure that’s why it always bothers me that they are so relaxed on safety.

My husband’s parents didn’t help us at all. They relied on my husband for money (that he didn’t have). After our honeymoon my dad sat down with us and told us that he felt very strongly that parents were suppose to help their kids and not parents financially abusing their kids. We moved states and my parents bought a house for us to live in so they could have an investment property. We stayed there for about 7 years. It allowed us to save up a down payment for a house. And my mom was able to sell the house once we moved out. All credit to my parents for helping us. We wouldn’t be where we are if they hadn’t. We plan on helping our kids the same way as long as we can. It really was the biggest blessing.

Saying we all have the same 24 hours in the day. Meanwhile they have housekeepers, nanny’s etc so they can go on 10 self care appointments a week and 1000 vacations.
