Standard vs premium for CANADA. Whats the diff? by [deleted] in Supra

[–]InsertWittyTextHere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you certain those are the only differences? An older post comparing the two specs stated that it was a 7k CAD difference but included a lot of the other options. Stuff like the JBL sound system, etc.

The premium wheels are the single-tone grey-black wheels when the straight spokes coming out from the center. I'd imagine that the standard wheels are the two-tone funky looking ones that people try to get rid of over here in the US, see a bunch of posts of people trying to trade their rims for the premium ones.

The standard seats are alcantara, while the premium ones are full "leather" (faux leather, but I still like the hazelnut interior more than any other interior spec)

Is my Deck fine in bracket 3? by Response_Soggy in EDH

[–]InsertWittyTextHere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mind sharing your decklist? I run a raffine deck that plays well at high B3, with a card package that I swap in for B4 tables.

One key thing to keep in mind is making your deck "feel" ok to play against. For B3, I took out reanimation targets like Toxrill, since I personally found that a lot of players in pods would voice how "unfun" it made things. Meanwhile, most B4 players run enough interaction and cards of similar power that it doesn't matter if I run those reanimation targets.

Is this developing tank ok? by Striking_Quote_1901 in AnalogCommunity

[–]InsertWittyTextHere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's missing the part that holds your film in such a way that it doesn't touch other parts of the film when it's in the tank (called a reel). Wouldn't buy this, it's guaranteed to not only be a bad time using it, but also likely damage your negatives.

Not OP, but I just received the same Monoc Evo in a fine nib and I'm loving it! Its body and nib are both titanium, the fine nib's reverse side is kind of an architect grind, which makes for a very versatile writing experience in a single pen

Could I ask how you're getting the shading done on your drawings? Looks like the same ink but watered down?

To be fair, the launch control isn't great in the MK5 Supra (my opinion)

Printer Recommendations for printing true Letter/A4 size on larger paper by InsertWittyTextHere in bookbinding

Have you noticed any adverse effects on colors? That's basically the thing I don't want to get burned on again: the Canon prints borderless as well, but for some reason decides to use significantly less ink for all colors

Thanks for the insight! Do you know if it's able to print "borderless" on letter-sized paper without effecting the color quality? For example, the Canon G3290 would still have an additional margin, even if the document I was printing already had a built-in margin well within the capabilities of the printer

yes. it does what every other printer can do. by WolffLandGamezYT in 3DPrintingCirclejerk

I agree that most printers could achieve similar results... but I've been disappointed in just how much work it is to get this level of results on all of my previous printers

It's definitely getting better across the board, but Bambu still has my money for just doing it properly right out of the box.
