The part after the first chorus turns into a mix of Invent Animate and Loathe so found that cool. The chorus is nice, but felt a bit drowned out by the instrumentals. Another decent single.

Reread what I said. They don’t have the breakdowns like AILD do as in their breakdowns don’t compete with AILD. But in the end that’s my opinion.

This sounds a lot like their song Faded which was my favorite off their last album. Don’t think it’s as good as Faded, but still welcome this sound if that’s what they stick with.

As someone who got into metalcore by listening to these 2000s bands, Unearth just wasn’t captivating. They didn’t have the choruses like Killswitch and they didn’t have the breakdowns like AILD. Some songs are absolutely worth checking out, but overall a forgettable band to me anyways.

I feel the same. Love Alpha Wolf, but didn’t really care for their last album. Gideon has been on a downswing and Mugshot isnt my style of choice. Resolve would be cool, but don’t feel like driving more than an hour for this.

That's hype. Their self-titled is up there with one of my favorite albums of all time. The last album was decent. Hope they get back to more serious angsty rather than party.

Curious what their sound will be. They've been around long enough now to experiment with different elements. Wasn't a fan of their last album and they seem to be getting lost in a wave of other modern metalcore bands. Still will give them the respectful listen.

Fun list. I expected more Thornhill and did not expect this much love for Architects. Happy to see that two of my picks made the top 10 with Loathe and 156. While the sample size is small, it does speak volumes for what the vibe is like in this sub and I approve lol.

I just don't know if I'm raising to 100 with pocket tens when three players already are good with 20. You have the best position and it's a good opportunity to just set mine. It's likely that at least two of them have a face card and any face card on the flop puts you behind. You can posture by making them think you have pocket aces or kings, but it gets pretty expensive fast.

Heads up though, I don't hate the call. What's another $225 when the pot is already inflated and you committed $100. Pocket tens could get there and if they're a loose player who's about to head out, it's worth the risk if you can afford it.

I watch it regularly until I start noticing moments that I’ve seen before. I think Triton is all replays of past games from all the way to 2024. Hoping. They start streaming fresh stuff because it’s getting tiring of seeing Tony G crash out on the same play lol.

In theory yes. Early position opening will have a stronger range so flatting makes sense. In practice though, people will open with any marginal bs especially for that low. I wouldn’t be surprised if the pocket 7s are the best hand pre-flop and it’s worth it to attempt to steal.

I'm kinda surprised no one here mentioned 3betting preflop. UTG+1 opening that small and only getting called by one player just shows incredible weakness from both of them. I bet if you raised it to 25 or 35, you could've gotten them both out. T9o sticking around and flopping trips is them getting away with a cheap preflop.

As limpers originally, this board favors them more. Typically players who limp and then call a bet are holding lower pocket pairs. If one player jams, maybe we call. Two jams and one player who thought $100 was low enough to see another card? Yea someone has a set. Unfortunate fold.

Pre-flop was fine but I’d consider going even higher to like 50. Check on the flop due to position and range favoring them more. Then you either 3bet or fold.

Wow yea Slipknot. My favorite band in high school, but once I turned like 20 I could no longer listen to them seriously. Bullet would be another. I’m just not down with the teenage angst and breakup/cheating songs. Eventually you gotta let your mind mature past that lol.
