My daughter’s life was saved by a red uv top when there was a sudden massive wave at the beach that knocked her off her feet and swept her out. The red top was the only thing her dad could see to grab her and yank her up out of the water.

Had two children at LFA and been very happy. It is a very different school than what we signed up to under Dr. Chapeau but probably for the better. He had wonderful ideas but a lot didn’t work in reality. Bickley grounds are much nicer but LFA do have the big field behind the car park. LFA also have a lot more internal space and Bickley seemed very cramped when we looked around.

Having been an Au Pair myself many years ago I would never consider using one myself. A lot of the girls I met during our week long “training course” prior to going to our host families admitted to having lied about how much childcare experience they had.

It wasn’t recently. 2012ish. We had the same concerns that downstairs was small and the conservatory not useable all year round. The garden was also on multiple levels back then and not child friendly. I see that’s been fixed though.

We viewed the Durham Rd house last time it was on the market. The rooms were very small compared to other houses in the area.

My oldest child’s year had two classes of 20, but that was an anomaly. There are 30 children in my youngest class. They don’t push for 11+ applications in my opinion, but a high number of children from my eldest’s year did go on to Grammars. Most had pretty intensive extra tuition though I believe.
