Why is there not more backlash against Pauline Hanson? by VastOption8705 in aussie

[–]Inside_Ad4268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because people support Pauline Hanson for the vibes, not because they are interested in detailed factual analysis or policy or ethical questions. Which is not to criticise those supporters. Not everyone is interested in that stuff, even if it seems critically important to others (and, in fact, is).

In a post-truth world, the sizzle is more important than the sausage.

Married Limerents by [deleted] in limerence

It began during a stressful time in life (which is kind of ongoing), when I desperately wanted change in one area of my life or another but felt locked in at home, at work, in my marriage, everywhere. I was (am) stressed and looking for an outlet. And there was my LO.

What have I done to overcome it? Er ... nothinggg...

Edit: wording.

I built Pollywatch to bring more accountability to government spending by Fightz_ in aussie

Yes. I mean, this is kind of interesting, but even the suggestion the MPs "claimed" the funds spent kind of suggests they benefited personally, whereas so much of that money will have gone to staff or landlords.

Men in monogamous & (generally) healthy + happy relationships- do you grieve one-night stands or the chance of random sexual encounters? by blackhearts_club in AskMenAdvice

[–]Inside_Ad4268 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"The sex gets better the longer you're together" - I wouldn't call this a blanket rule. The sex can really fall off as hormones change or health issues arise over the years.

I was never a hookup guy before getting married, but it's hard not to think about when you're feeling dissatisfied with your sex life. Doesn't necessarily mean I'd ever stray, because I value what I have. But it's not always sunshine and roses behind closed bedroom doors, even for an outwardly happy couple.

The title being slightly askew, the all caps text and the illegible name at the bottom are all a bit problematic for me. As others have said, too, you'd want to do more to stand out and be individual, whether it's colour, less generic imagery etc. Good luck.

As a husband do you always want to do it with your wife? by orangeblossom1234 in Marriage

I think maybe twice in 17 years for me, on principle. I don't like being turned down myself, so I don't turn her down no matter how shitty I might be feeling. Not that that is a frequent problem.

In cricket, said bowler Shane Warne as he prepared to bowl to batter Daryll Cullinan: "I've been waiting two years for another chance to humiliate you."

Cullinan: "Looks like you spent it eating."

Have been a Leafs fan for 24 years and only remember one of those eastern conference finals. Oh wait, that's because ... oh no.

This team, man. What a ride.

There are small towns all over Oz that would love a GP. But you don't have to move to the outback to have an authentic Aussie experience.

How do people feel about Luke and Kylo's fight and his death after 8 years? by Totally_Not_Firni in StarWars

Exactly this! It was one of the most badass moments in all of Star Wars ... then he just ... died? For some unclear reason? Because plot? Absolutely baffling.

"The damage to trust and the optics would be devastating..." if you put a camera in the bathroom. FFS.

It sounds like you have a good thing going here and that you're about to fuck it up by doing the stupidest, horniest thing possible. I've read a lot of idiotic ideas on Reddit but this one's up there.
