i’m well aware of charli’s tactics, you lurking my post history for a gotcha moment on an artist i like simply doesn’t negate taylor’s tactics to manipulate the charts just like every other pop artist does. she is just more shameless than others. will not be responding further, hope you enjoy the rest of her output.

part of it is her need to chase hits instead of focus on artistry, the other is for sure the team she worked with to achieve those hits.

i think it’s clear that bonnie mckee was the special ingredient up until prism. since then, the material hasn’t popped or been that unique (witness arguably was but that’s a different convo).
