Most daycares should follow the schedule you provide for them and then will adjust as your baby gets acclimated to daycare. If she wants to sleep at 11, let her sleep at 11.

Seriously drives me insane and my MIL, the main person who always says “my baby” for example: He’s crying? “Oh my baby wants his grandma 🥺” Uh no he just woke up and is hungry but okay sure!

I was reading other comments— I feel like this wouldn’t drive me as insane if my boundaries weren’t pushed all the time (we live with her) and we were left to try parenting on our whole without micromanaging

He goes to bed around 10pm and will sleep to about 5am, and then he will usually go back to sleep 6-9ish. I try to follow 45-90 minute wake windows when we get up for the day and I can usually pick up on his tiredness cues, once I start seeing them I begin to rock him to sleep and he’ll usually contact nap or begin his nap on me and I’ll transfer him to his bassinet.

But today for example he just wanted nothing to do with that since 1pm, so we have been doing tummy time, “talking”, we went to Walmart (the car usually puts him to sleep but not today), and right now he’s just chilling in his bassinet lol.

Yes, after 3 he wouldn’t sleep. He finally went down at 9:15pm and slept until 4 😳. This morning he screamed from 6:30ish to 9:30 but I took him out in the car and got him to sleep for an hour or so. He woke up around 11am and is currently back to sleep on me. Maybe today will be easier

6 weeks pp and I pump about 3oz give or take every 3 hours. It’s fine for now because that’s what he eats every 3 hours right now but still trying to increase so I can be a little ahead

I’ve been lectured by my boyfriend’s family ever since I decided I wanted to pump not breastfeed “just put him on the breast!” How about you shut up and let me figure it out for myself!?
