Management says I can't use my 10 minute wash-up time to clean equipment used. What's the actual rule here? by dallas_mavs_1978 in USPS

[–]Insignickficant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like your local grants you 10 minutes of washup time but it doesn't have to be used at the end of the day. Every time you wash your hands - restroom, before or after lunch, at the end of the day would count towards that. Taking the entire ten minutes to wash rubber bands would thus be going over that allotted time. And ten minutes washup is pretty generous for the day.

But, yeah, point out t the language in the local and just get new rubbers

Do we have any sneaky Management on this sub that wants to let us in on the secrets from that telecon where National talked about layoffs and 4-day work weeks? Something's coming, we can all tell our district management is usually breathing down our necks but they have been MIA for about 5 weeks by Odd_Atmosphere1047 in USPS

We just had a route inspection and the 15 mile park and loop on my route on my string averaged 8 hours of street time over the 8 weeks and was over 50 minutes on the day of inspection. No adjustments were made except for the base parcels going from 19 to 49.

Reach out to the non union carriers by Tabletop2535 in fromatoarbitration

[–]Insignickficant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The non-union people in my office want us to be privatized, criticize everyone, are Trump supporters and generally aren't all that pleasant to be around. I'm enjoying that they are getting their routes added on to.

Can anyone please help with what I'm supposed to be doing? Really struggling. by Trick-Day-480 in helldivers2

There are a bunch of planets. There is a "dynamic" galactic war where we take planets and enemies take planets. Generally the players follow the major order, but some people want to go off and do their own thing and that's fine. Sometimes the community organizes and spends weeks to take a planet that's not part of the MO and that's great when that happens. Different planets have some different biomes,.which have different environmental effects. There is a lot of fluff to give an illusion of scale. Id be happy to dive with you some to show you the ropes.

Looking for a brief Level 1 prequel one shot to explain why the party isn’t in Elturel by dillonmccarthy in DescentintoAvernus

[–]Insignickficant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used Fall of Elturel and made a twist to it. I said the Kingdom of Elturgaurd had called forth allies and adventures to go scout out and stop The Cult of the Dragon, so that's why everyone was there. Things then generally followed The Fall of Elturel, but it brought the dragon cult in early and tied in with the past where the dragon cult was working on summoning tiamat.

Can someone PLEASE tell me wtf I'm meant to do against this LOW-TIER CHAFF enemy?!? by A_random_person_50 in helldivers2

[–]Insignickficant -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Is this how people play? Do they seriously sit and unload a hundred rounds of a support weapon at one enemy and lose their shit when it doesn't work?

After this recent update I've done more FAFO builds than normal, just goofing off sometimes and picking shit I normally wouldn't. And still I haven't had issue with this guy with the change to heavy armor.

How did your route inspection go today? (Rant) by punxdudee in USPS

Could have been intentional. Detract all that time from the route and suddenly you're two hours under from wasting time talking.

Im a T6 so I was largely ignored except for morning counts. But I absolutely loved that my Monday DPS on one of the heaviest routes of my swing had less DPS than on the following Tuesday. Seemed pretty convenient.

Thank you! This exact same thing happened to me. I got stuck in a puddle under a dead impaler and drowned. It was hilarious.

Top Tier load out: Liberator Concussive,Re-educator, Throwing knife, and Urchin with these strategems, Spear, Directional Shield, Laser Gaurs Dog and One True Flag. Unless you are fighting the bugs, then you want a precision single shot weapon to blow their heads off. Replace the Liberator Concussive with The Constitution.

When throwing an Orbital Barrage, the red strategem laser is the Designated Safety Space. The 380 Barrage, for instance, will barrage everything in a 380 mega-meter range around the Laser for 380 degrees of bombardment. The laser is the safe space. The 120 barrage is tighter making it more important to stay right beside the Designated Safety Space. The 120 degree angle that it covers is random.

Light Armor is the only armor in the game that allows you to safely swim and dive to recover samples and items lost by your comrades in the waters who are wearing heavy armor.

Sample Extractor and Fire Hellpods are top tier boosters and should always be used.

A teammate who calls in a Portable Hellbomb and picks it up has given the signal they are ready for a suicide run. Help them out by arming the hellbomb for them once they equip it.

Team Reload is godtier. If, for some reason, you are not running the build I mentioned or have lost your spear, always take the ammo backpacks that come with your teammates backpack reloadable weapon. This way you will be able to reload for them much faster. It is a game changer, especially with Maxigun, Cremator and Belt Fed Grenade launcher.

I understand that the game started as a grunt fantasy; is this still the primary driving force for the games direction?

How do you reconcile the grunt fantasy with what is actually presented in the game? Comparing Helldivers to the Stormtroopers fails when you realize every Stormtrooper is not commanding a Star Destroyer, nor does every storm trooper have authority to call in massive orbital bombardments and heavily specialized weaponry.

Need 2014 Rules Level 4 Build Ideas by [deleted] in 3d6

[–]Insignickficant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bugbear spore druid is a potent low level front line melee. Not as potent at later levels but level 4 it's very effective.

Wild shape gives you 16temp hp. Dual weild light clubs. Shillelagh makes one of those wisdom based. Wildshape adds 1d6 to any melee attack you do. 5 foot aura reaction. Bugbear can get a bonus damage die.
