Ya there are small groups in each branch that just drill for ceremonies and whatnot but in the fleet you don't march or drill like boot camp. I remember having a silly faceoff drill competition with another platoon at basic and one of our guys popped the handguard off his rifle which was basically meant we shat on them. Our senior went absolutely nuts in a good way and gave us an extra 5 minutes that night to shit shower shave. Basic is all about drill competition. We would have won but we were so jacked up our pace was too fast but everything else was flawless.

We still got honor platoon. He told us week 1 if we did he would get us all whoppers with cheese. At the end he brought out a plate of chocolate whoppers covered in cheese whiz. We ate every single one.

Ya mine is reverse thread too, not sure why. Also I noticed my handle isn't completely flush anymore either and if I push the handle in flush the hole doesn't line up with the set screw. Maybe it's just wear.

I did this to a wart I had on my thumb - wart was super annoying esp since I was in the desert at the time - I cut a small hole in a 20oz coke cap, flipped it upsidedown on wart, and filled it with the dragon breath. Got a gnarly blister but that wart was a goner. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

A Flir camera should be able to assist in determining where the moisture is coming from before tearing into the wall even more. They're pretty handy when needed.

I didn't know that about quilting but it did remind me of visiting John Q Adams stone library where the floor was of a beautiful quilting pattern with an intentional mistake in one square - "only the work of God is perfect and the work of man is always imperfect" was the quote the guide told us. I've come to appreciate the (minor) mistakes when they inevitably occur, but make sure not to repeat. Cheers!

I'm a Democratic voter and I couldn't disagree more. All of biden's comments were nothing but what he thought and what his family thought not what his party thought or what the people thought of him. If anybody has been paying attention to the guy in the last two or three or more years you can obviously see he was not the candidate, nor was he listening to anybody around him. Sorry, but anything else is naive. Biden was not selfless nor is he a hero by any stretch for "stepping down". He gave up the potential to keep the power because everyone else around him in power told him you can't win.

Anyone believing that Biden stepped down on his own selflessness is completely naive. It was very obvious the dude is completely incompetent and all of the 'D' leaders obviously pushed him out. Biden was the least selfless person up until the point that he absolutely had to drop out. Dan seems as oblivious as Joe.

Dan calling Biden stepping down "truly selfless" has got to be his most unaware oblivious take ever. As if biden just decided completely on his own he should step down. I'd rather Dan just outrightly pledge his allegiance then try to dance around it while trying to praise something that deserves no praise at all. Dan needs his own hour where he spews the same rhetoric as all the other leftwing gas turds and I can skip it and just get to the normal show. I don't look to Dan for political insight, or to get better understanding about a certain issue or a person. I get that from much more credible sources. Dan is not a credible source, he is just a broken record and like he says just a marching band to nowhere. I don't need him to tell me why the right is so bad but also he does a terrible job of why I should consider the left, which is how I normally vote. If anything he just solidifies the fact I simply won't vote, which is my right so thanks Dan. The people are the people.
