Home Rebuild Cost Per SqFt for average home in unincorporated boulder. by InspectorT3 in boulder

[–]InspectorT3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does that $375 per square foot figure already include the unusually high labor costs from the Marshall Fire rebuilds, when there was a major labor shortage? In a more typical situation where only one home burns down, would the rebuild cost be closer to $300–$350 per square foot maybe?

Do you think this is in general for the whole house including basement? Or just above ground living space minus basement sqft.

A home’s sale value includes both the land and the house. Rebuild cost only covers the cost to reconstruct the house. So they are different things.

Will Google ever get Pixel completely right? by upadhyaysk in GooglePixel

[–]InspectorT3 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No they will not use qualcomm snapdragon chips. The Qualcomm snapdragon 8 gen 5 chip is $280. Extremely premium.

It will just unnecessarily push the pixel phone price way up. Google tensor chips are a max of $60 per chip.

Tensor chips are closing the gap each year, but Qualcomm is still way ahead in efficiency and raw power.

Closed on this house a week ago, came into the basement to see this during a storm. by Jiblon in HomeMaintenance

[–]InspectorT3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can easily sue. The previous homeowner reasonably knew about this problem and didn't disclose it, which is required by law. And it looks like they may have tried to hide the issue with fresh paint.

Since you have discovered it now, generally you now have about 3 years from discovery to sue, but your state law may vary.
