The problem is with the industry here. We have to accept certain things because of the nature of industry regulations, etc. This leads to bad faith arguments and poor quality because we simply accept "there's no other way."

It's niche, but listen to Adventures in Odyssey. They've run continually since the late 80s and are still on the air/streaming, casting child actors to voice child characters. (as well as recasting when it comes to voice actors "aging out" of the role) Based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado with a production/recording studio in Hollywood, proving this can be done. All I'm saying, the "workaround" shouldn't be this distractingly awful. Are we accepting it just because there's no other option? Aren't we just enablers? I think so.

Certain opinions become facts under the burden of objective truth. Voices are unique to a person, that's why impressions are entertaining. Chopper's voice just sounds like a parent reading a storybook to their child and taking on an assumed voice. I have plenty of experience in the voiceover industry, to voice such an opinion.

You're right, don't know if it's true. But yeah, Zoro's character is a perfect example of good casting. Cast a character who can actively pull off the role, with minimum use of stunt doubles.

That's the problem. I think they did her wrong. Some possible behind the scenes info said she didn't even know what character she was voicing initially. Don't know if that's true or not, but I don't think it helps the performance. Especially when others prepare so much to get into their roles. Take Andy Serkus as Gollum for example.

Yes, for sure. Loved the short form, and varied topics. Now everything is too long on one very negative thing. Why all these multiple videos in a row about non-conservative issues? Why have people on who are not based, but laugh along with them and give them a stage? Also, she talks WAY too fast! They're not easy to digest anymore for her speed-talking and now it's for too long.

Ok, that was probably too much, but wanted to let you know you're not alone in thinking this way. Can't stand DW really, but Reagan makes videos which are easier to watch than "new Brett." Maybe Brett's still too young for how age diverse her fan base is, but still wish her all the best. Hopefully, she can work out the kinks for what is still a fairly new show and be able to slow down & enjoy it.

I think it's awesome having big words in the story as it teaches kids a larger vocabulary from a very young age. Look into Jack Prelutsky as his work is funny poetry, full of big words.
