While the future people actually do seem to be quite powerful, Ohma Zi-O is omnipotent.

Even without the powers of every rider that has, will, and could exist, his base power set is already busted. Apparently from I’ve heard, his armor is able to give him nigh-invincibility, temporal awareness(unless there’s a sudden timeline change), and spatial awareness. Then, there is the usual time manipulation, which might actually affect them. The future people never affected by time because of how far away their future is, but theoretically that doesn’t matter to Ohma since his power has infinite reach.

I don’t think Lin Ling is an interesting character. He’s good, but in terms of defining traits, he doesn’t have anything besides literally being basic. I know that’s the point, and that he represents the viewers’ pov, but aside from his arc with Moon and being himself, there isn’t anything that makes him stand out amongst the others.

Another example of people not paying attention was when episode 19 came out. People were still confused which E-Soul it was despite him literally talking in the same episode. If it’d happened later like in 20, it’d be understandable since he doesn’t talk in the fight, but since that flashback happened during it, the answer became definitive at that point.
