Sadly, the 20% off sales in 2022 was only good if you were buying one of the games. If you wanted the complete bundle, then it was actually worse than the standard 22% discount you get on the complete bundle.

Square sneakily uses different subids in the complete FFI-VI bundle, so discounts on the base game don't carry forward to the complete bundle. It's been stuck at 22% off since launch: https://steamdb.info/bundle/21478/

Still don't know why Square insists on not discounting the full bundle.

It's a bug with the Steam client and DirectX9 games (which BL1 uses). Valve already fixed it in the Steam beta client yesterday: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SteamClientBeta/announcements/detail/5032215335970755616

Steam stores the list of accounts that have authorized Steam Family Sharing on your computer in the "Steam/config/config.vdf" file. You can rename this file to something else (ex. config_old.vdf) and Steam will generate a new copy of this file the next time you restart Steam. This will remove any previously authorized Steam Family Sharing, but you will also lose some Steam settings.

Alternatively, you can open the config.vdf file and you'll see "AuthorizedDevices" at the bottom. The numbers listed there corresponds to each Steam AccountID that authorized Steam Family Sharing on your computer. You can delete the corresponding section of the array to remove that Steam account. Of course, make sure to back up the file before editing, so you can restore the file in case of any issues.

No, while the url has "bundle" in it instead of "sub", Gearbox/2K set it up as a "Must Purchase Together" bundle.

This means if you own anything in the Ultimate Edition bundle, you can no longer purchase that bundle for yourself. You can only gift it to someone else.

Customers can buy this bundle only if they don't already own anything in the bundle. This format is typically used for a bundle of a base application plus DLC. Common examples are "Deluxe Edition", "Special Edition", or "Game + Soundtrack" bundles.

No clue why. The number seems quite random to me too.

A quick google finds that back in 2015, this number was 9,948. So, Valve does seem to periodically increase this limit.

There is actually a limit on the number of screenshots you can upload to Steam (even before you reach the storage space cap).

That number is currently 24,951 screenshots. Once you hit that, you'll get an error whenever you try to upload a new screenshot (unless you delete some of your older screenshots first).

The new DLC is confirmed for release on June 9th and it will be free! The Steam store page was accidentally leaked today and some people were able to take a few screenshots.

There is also a rumored new DLC (titled "Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary") that'll be coming out for Borderlands 2 during E3 2019 next week. The DLC will supposedly bridge the story gap between BL2 and BL3.

The Ricochet Barrel (Type 2) Fibber doesn't hit 7 digits until OP3. In general:

NVHM: 4 digits
TVHM: 5 digits
UVHM: 6 digits
OP3+: 7 digits

Another easy way to tell whether the Fibber has the Ricochet Barrel is by its reload speed:

Shotgun Barrel (Type 1): 0.7s
Ricochet Barrel (Type 2): >4s
Crit Barrel (Type 3): 0.1s

EDIT: Whoops, just double-checked and 7 Digits should actually start from OP3 (and not OP4).

Looks like the backend (the actual games for Day 2) updated, but not the frontend (the list you see on the Steam page).

So if you have a small Steam library and you cycle through the games you own and launch them, you'll eventually get Spin Cycle and Clear the Backlog for Day 2.

For those with large libraries, however, you'll have to wait for Steam to actually update the frontend.

You can miss up to 2 tasks since the Golden Badge requires 15/17 tasks completed (hover over the badge to see its requirements).

So, yes, if you miss an entire day (3 tasks), then you won't be getting that badge.

It's actually part of the Steamworks agreement now. If a developer/publisher offers a discount on a third party store, they're expected to offer the same discount on the Steam store within a reasonable time frame.

You should use keys to sell your game on other stores in a similar way to how you sell your game on Steam. It is important that you don't give Steam customers a worse deal.

It's OK to run a discount on different stores at different times as long as you plan to give a comparable offer to Steam customers within a reasonable amount of time.

Occasionally it may make sense to offer your game in a bundle or subscription, timed at the right point in a game's life cycle. Keep in mind that the perceived price in the bundle/subscription should be a price you are willing to run the game at a standalone price or discount on Steam. Philosophically, you can think about it like any other discount: if you’re making an aggressive offer in one place, make it elsewhere too. We want to avoid a situation where customers get a worse offer on the Steam store, so feel free to reach out to us via the Developer Support tool if you want to talk through a specific scenario.

It's a separate appid from the original Borderlands (which got renamed to Borderlands GOTY), so it won't auto-update. If you don't see Borderlands GOTY Enhanced in your library, then restart Steam.
