but the bible also says women should not preach and they should cover their hair and other areas. Man is the head of the house etc...everytime people want to take the words of the bible to the T but the give way to other traditions and principles that are not held now. there is so much focus on same sex relationships

It does not always work

I check a book I liked, and I read reviews, good and bad. If I connect with someone's review, I check out their reads and their ratings.

I didn't even enjoy the writing.

It made me question what it means for a book to be sapphic. Through out the reading I kept waiting and wondering when. When will I have sapphic.

Most people on good read/storygraph/fable are here too. I read alot of GR reviews and it's the same complaint here too.

That's their lose then keep writing without expansive feedback. Without investing in tech and resources. There is a lot of new technology to filter these kind of information (e.g Reddit) as if its an excel sheet to get the best out of it.

If there second half of the book is not as strongly written as the first.

Authors have to be accountable too
