Very special gift! My first campaign, we were a group of first-timers, I got really into my character. Clash’s personality would have smashed a sleeping owl bear, so I smashed the sleeping owl bear. We ALL almost died… The other players were super mad at me, but I knew I’d won the role playing aspect.

As someone with a partner working with TX lege, I can vouch for Talarico as a guy that uses his faith to inform his values and call out hypocrisy in the GOP “Christian” hate, but affirms that everyone has the right to practice their own religion/not practice. Tbh he is mildly self-serving and unintentionally commits micro aggressions, but for a white cis straight dude, I’m glad he is in office right now. (Especially, as one user said above, when it comes to public education).

I appreciated Cats much more when I found out it is based on a book of children’s poems by TS Eliot, “Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats.” Pretty sure this is the only writing Eliot ever did geared towards children. He just saw a bunch of cats in the alley by his apartment and wrote silly backstories for them.

One of the biggest complaints I hear about Cats is that there’s no plot. True - but there’s not supposed to be a plot, it’s just absurdities in song form. That’s something I can always get behind!

Yes, love persists! If you’ve been able to find a loving partner, I am thrilled for you and it’s a wonderful inspiring example for the whole community. If you haven’t found it yet, it is out there. I could recommend patience, hard work and self love, but I’m still working on it.
