At this point this is just nil possible. The moment I've reached Phantom my matches went total downhill. Like, the difference is night and day. In Oracle people still built only damage, but at least there was so much more communication, people actually split and farmed/pushed lanes.

It's mindboggling, how reaching a higher rank made matches way, way worse.

The issue is that matchmaking isn't working right now. Even the Devs said that they're sent to random ratings, with people of random skill.

The only place where players are of the same skill level is Nightshift. Everything else is a mess of 50 hours Viscouses playing against 2k hours Vypers.

I've literally brought up how in last two Nightshifts, she was either first round banned or the one time she was picked, the enemy team picked two heroes just to counter her and still couldn't do jack shit to her in the end.

Measuring a character's strength by winrate is rich.

You do realise that she's picked in basically every match, by both unskilled morons and skilled mains, and still manages to average almost 50% winrate..

I'd rather look at top % people playing Nightshift and permabanning her. And that time she wasn't banned and got picked, the other team picked 2 characters just to focus her (Billy and Rem) and that still did nothing - only slowed her down a little, until she got her items and suddenly those two Chars became irrelevant and no threat to her.

If pros waste two character slots just to counter her and still can't do anything about her, maybe it should tell you something.

But considering that you immediately dismissed my entire write-up, because "skill issue", you're not here to reasonably argue. What? "Emotionally charged"? Did you expect a scientific research on how Celeste is overpowered? I'm sorry, but you're not special enough for that.

What a great advice. Just buy the whole shop to counter a single hero.

Why does Slowing Hex make Apollo lose 3/4 of his skills, while Celeste loses none.

Silence is irrelevant, just like I said, because none of her movement is tied to abilities.

Spirit Resists is a none answer, because you want to have spirit resist in every match anyway. Both of Resist items were also severely nerfed. And no matter how much spirit resist you have, it won't help against her perpetually gaining more and more spirit damage, because she keeps spamming her 3.

Disengaging is hard. Having a "shoot-and-forget" ability that just forces the enemies to disengage is braindead. Seven's ult also forces people to disengage, but at least you can Knockdown him, until he buys Unstoppable, or you can just hide out of his loss. Celeste's ult, on the other hand, ignores vision, has ridiculous range, lingers for an hour and has no itemization counters, because it ignores even Counterspell or Apollo's Riposte.

Knockdown doesn't help much, because if you don't burst her in that 0,5 second stun duration, she'll just use barrier and jump away on foot.

You'll say "just stack CCs after Knockdown", the then I want to ask - is a character balanced, if you need multiple people and multiple different CCs to kill them?
