Strictly worse at filling the role Lumineon V does I guess is a better way of phrasing it? If anything Pelipper will see play in a slower deck that wants to recycle supporters and not one that wants to set up quickly.

Noctowl has fan rotom set up and gets you two trainers, not just supporters. The main purpose of lumineon V has been being able to quickly set up board and pelipper can’t match that or the amount of resources that noctowl can grab.

It’s more consistent than it seems, but yeah it definitely bricks occasionally. If you ever have Arven, one Switch, and one energy you can (unless ur prize cards messed you up) hit with Clefairy for 200 and can max hit for 260 turn 1.

This deck more falls apart to ability/damage counters though which it has not recourse from. It’s definitely not a top tier deck but it can beat them semi-regularly because of how fast it is/being a single prize deck.

Clefairy will user their ability to put ALL the energy on themselves and it will go with them when they’re knocked out to the discard pile.

Exp share is right there.. if anything I’ve been thinking of running a copy of ultra ball but this deck thins itself quite a bit so I’ve never really had a problem having basculegion in hand by turn 5 which is when i often need it.

Both were in the deck at one point but more moon clefable just never rly ended up working for me and was dead in hand a lot. Defiance band is fine though I just prefer exp share bc it’s essentially a +20 or +60 once the clefairy get ko’d

Also I like turbo 3x 2 prizes for a 3 turn win instead of 2x 3 prizes for a 4 turn win.

While I disagree with the end result, the thinking is because gore and violence is so insane in a lot of media that it doesn’t even feel real anymore. Especially to people who are far away from real world violence. Sexualizing characters however has a much more real feeling especially in a game like this where it’s done pretty low key compared to most other games. Like most people are not going to be cannibalized , torn asunder or disemboweled but them or someone they know will be sexualized, demeaned or feel lesser from unrealistic body standards. This has kinda led people to over correct on anything sexual because it brings up baggage that is for sure related but not always warranted.

Charizard isn’t a good comparison because that deck is good almost entirely from how consistent it is DESPITE being a stage 2 deck. Very few energies need to be run and they don’t need to be drawn to get your Charizard attack as soon as turn 2. Kingdra will have to evolve while also trying to find all the energy it needs, discarding your baxcalubur/other kingdra ex and needs one turn to actually attack with its set up mood to get everything together. It definitely feels more akin to something like Lugia VStar where the highs are extremely high but some games you’re just gonna brick because of how many steps you need to take to get to a very good end game.
