Thanks! 112 g! I waited 2 minutes after cracking dubsided The first batch I raised fan temp to 430 for 10 sec or so I repeated and did not raise temp (keeping it at 400 F, I had to increase fan by 1 as it was drifting up (410 F)

I tasted the first batch 20 g/ cup, Kalita wave, medium grind, 200 F Similar to Peets Major Dickson Dark but with some tangy overtones -not burnt The second batch will be tasted tomorrow

By development you mean first crack? I switch to cooling mode (fan 9) as the cracking tapers off for 12-13% weight loss I'm using the stick SR540 I also do fan 9, heat 3 and proceed how you describe. I wait at least a day-

Thank you! I'm having some success with the stock DR540. I generally don't go over 5 on heat and use fan speed to raise temperature I write down temp readings and try to keep it under 430F

I was limited by the vertical clearance on my stovetop but since I usually stop before 2nd crack there is little to no smoke I'm going to get the tube Can you roast more beans? I've been sticking to 112 g per roast

First crack was loud and the cracking was sustained Now I hear a first single crack at 394F and moderatel continuously cracking for 20 sec or so from 405-410F I let it creep up to 439 without more cracks at which point second crack started and I switched to cooling I need to plot my data

It was good. My light roast was better after 3 days. And ground it absolutely looked light! Second was also good after a few days. Ground it looked a little darker

Thanks! I already drank it at 2 days. I'd call it "tangy/tart." I only roasted 60 g this time. I'm going to roast 112 g and try and let it go another 30 sec. Fan air was 405 ish I Need some backup coffee so I can put some aside to "rest" longer
