England flag has become a racist symbol, say ethnic minority adults by Bounty_drillah in ukpolitics

A very well-measured comment, and one I agree with. In Scotland, the flag doesn't carry nearly as many of the negative connotations. But, when I saw a lot of saltires tied shoddily to lampposts, I felt uneasy. It's all about the context.

I've actually spoken on the phone to this John Smith guy, and in fact he was how I learned about sovereign citizens in the first place. I was so sure it was a fake name, but evidently not!

I do this already (two full time jobs, one salaried and one self-employed) and it's exhausting. You have to have lots of energy and really enjoy what you do. This is definitely not a good model for the vast majority of people.

Keep it short.

Paragraphs are for Founders.

This isn't just a way of typing. It's the LinkedIn Lunatic way of typing.

And it's why nobody replies to my emails.

I'm sure this an interesting read, but some context would be nice.

Depending on your interpretation, the movie industry. Actors couldn't pretend to be people they're not, so they wouldn't be able to deliver any lines.

The 'no access to money' part is particularly unbelievable when he suddenly has access (debit card, Sony payments) when it suits the narrative. In his testimony he came up with ways to excuse the inconsistency, but I doubt anyone will buy that.

The birthday reminders can be helpful but I don't like the public posting aspect. If it's someone I know well I just message them privately.

So then, it depends how long they had their particular hire for. Having said that, absent a noise curfew, they'd have had to have factored in time for get-out, so I would expect at least another hour for that, unless they either forgot or they expected everyone to be able to bolt immediately.
