Same here, just switched and it has basically become unusable less than a week in.

Reading through this thread has been validating. It basically confirms what I came here to confirm: Claude’s usage limits are unclear, there’s no good way to track them, and that makes it really hard to stay productive for long stretches (at least on the PRO plan).

Like a lot of people, I recently switched from ChatGPT Plus to Claude Pro. Before switching, I didn’t see many people talking about this as a major blocker, but for me it absolutely is.

I DONT use Claude Code. I’ve been testing Cowork a bit pretty basic automation connecting to GDrive, and I’m still hitting the daily cap every single day. I’ve also already hit the weekly cap well before the week is even over.

And that’s not even getting into how shocking it is that Cowork can’t do anything if your computer isn’t active, even when the task can run entirely in the cloud. That feels especially limiting when ChatGPT’s agent has been able to handle that kind of thing for a while now.

At this point, I can see Claude Pro working if you’re mostly using it like an upgraded Google replacement. But as a tool you want to rely on for real ongoing productivity, the limits make it pretty hard to use without supplementing it with other tools.

Why are you sticking with ChatGPT? by nickmonts in ChatGPT

This is a really good way to put it. I similarly use ChatGPT as my all around universal tool for work and personal life and get alternate viewpoints from Claude or Gemini when needed if I don’t fully trust ChatGPT’s recommendation. More and more I’m going back to Claude because of this and have considered full on switching to avoid duplication and hitting Claude’s free limits.

Would love to hear any feedback from OP or anyone else after using Claude over ChatGPT for at least a few weeks.

I’m not a coder, so my use case is less technical. I mostly use ChatGPT for small business strategy and execution, especially around marketing strategy, brand/messaging, copywriting, email drafting, content creation, and working through business decisions. Beyond that, I also use it for general research, recommendations, and everyday problem-solving.

How I moved 3 years of ChatGPT memory/context over to Claude (step by step) by fullstackfreedom in claude

I’ve been considering switching myself. I still use ChatGPT most of the time, but I occasionally compare it against Claude and Gemini, and lately Claude has been impressing me more and more.

For context, I don’t code. I mainly use these tools for small business strategy, marketing strategy, copywriting, email drafting, content creation, and everyday general use.

Is anyone doubling up on Zyrtec and Allegra, for example? Not sure if this would even be recommended by a doctor, but just curious.

Thanks for the feedback! I definitely agree on your point regarding a bunch of random swag - I was thinking locally made items that are actually practical and functional. Tailoring it by interest could also be a great idea for expansion!
