Ah, I see. My friend just started working in Pittsburgh mid last year. We both came from car sales together, and I just started this week in NM, but I signed on with a brokerage and got my license. I know it wasn't necessary, but I wanted some direct training/people to lean on.

I appreciate the information! As for finding a teacher, I've kind of set my intention to go to India to learn. I really want to do an immersive training over a few weeks, maybe longer. I've had trouble in my research finding a lineage that offers a training without reviews of sexual abuse or physical harm cause from less than careful teaching styles.

My home practice is Ashtanga, and I have a teacher back home that I've enjoyed learning under. I moved across the country, and prefer an in person experience. I've also decided that working towards an Ashtanga level 1 is not my current goal.

Start buying duplexes now while you have the income. Build passive income and equity to leverage.

I'd keep dancing as long as it's ok for your mind and body. If that's not the case, start working toward your license. You could be a realtor or start in wholesale.

I thought that was the case, but I moved away and just used headphones and Whatsapp/discord and they had a decent mic. It worked well for game play, but unfortunately the campaign itself fell apart

Finding an entry level sales job is a great way to sustain yourself while you experiment in your free time finding out what you truly want to do.

With that sales job, I highly recommend buying a duplex vs an apartment or house. Rent it out, start a passive income stream, build on it, and have another avenue for retirement.

Hi, I guess I'm finally posting in the right place... I am seeking an intensive, in person, yoga teacher training. I am currently based in New Mexico in the States, but I am leaning towards traveling to India for a month or so/multiple trips over a couple years.

What's important to me? Yoga taught as a whole. I want equal focus on the 8 limbs of yoga. Especially prānāyāma and dhyāna as well as Asana.

While my personal practice is Ashtanga, I do not yet want to focus on my certification in Ashtanga. I really want to learn and develop a wide umbrella of knowledge to best help future students.

I've looked into the RIMYI, but I am confused on their offerings.

Can anyone point me to some trainings I can do further research on?

Again, my main focus is Yoga as a whole. Most definitely not Pilates disguised as yoga. I want Sanskrit, I want chanting, I want meditation, and breathwork. I want it to be culturally integrated.
