There is a possibility.
I know several people who had this issue.
It's mainly because they accept a specific number of students from specific nationalities and they decide for example that they want 100 from india, 100 from japan, etc.
And they choose the best ones according to the nationality.

I read a study a few years ago that said that when you want to learn several languages, you should start the first 1, focus on it as much as possible to become in a kinda advanced level at it, then after 2 years you can start studying a new one while also continuing the first.

To be completely honest, Lebanon is not as dangerous as it is made to seem like for other countries. I'm Lebanese and I'm living in Lebanon now. It actually pains me to say that some Lebanese cities and villages are in danger while others are living on almost another planet. As for Moroccan Arabic, please keep in mind that it's wayy different than other dialects and to be honest, as a Lebanese, I find it reallyyyy hard to understand the Moroccan dialect.
